Today marks the launch of three new video cards for gaming enthusiasts and overclockers from MSI. All through the video cards use the new AMD R7950 GPU inside and have different cooling solutions and presumably different clock speeds. The coolest of three cards uses MSI’s custom Twin Frozr cooling solution.

Prototype 2 PC Delayed Until July, RADNET Edition Unveiled (video)

PC gamers looking forward to the launch of Prototype 2 will be disappointed to learn that its launch date has now been delayed until July 24th. The announcement by Activision was made via their Facebook page, but no reasons were given for the delay.

However on a brighter point the announcement also revealed a new RADNET Edition of Prototype 2 would be available at launch, for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be available in “a limited number of the launch quantities”.

HTC has announced that they will be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the HTC Sensation XE, and it looks like the update will be released ‘early this year’.

HTC announced that the Sensation XE would get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on Twitter, although they didn’t give a specific date on when the update will be rolled out o the device.

RIM Accepting Android Apps For BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0

RIM has announced that they are now accepting Android application submissions for their BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0, and developer have to submit applications for approval by next Monday the 6th of February 2012.

RIM are expected to launch the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 some time next month, although they haven’t given an exact release date as yet.

Swarm Of Nano Quadcopters Reveal A Glimpse Of The Future (video)

We have featured a few different videos showing how quadcopters can be made to fly in formations and even build structures. Now a video has been released showing how a swarm of nano quadcopters which have been used in experiments at the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing, and Perception (GRASP) Lab, University of Pennsylvania.

The nano quadcopter vehicles in the video after the jump have been developed by KMel Robotics, and are capable of creating in flight 3D formations and even able to navigate objects by staying in smaller formations. Watch the video after the jump to see them in action.

Scratch Markup Language (SML) is a new file format that has been created and developed by F.A.T with the sole purpose of being able to record and replaying turntablism. The new file format has been entered into this year’s Art Hack in Brooklyn.

Open-source tools have also been developed that enable DJ’s to accurately capture record and crossfader movements of a scratch. Which can then be analysed, transcribe, and used to recreate scratch performances. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

Microsoft has now released the first full version of their Kinect for Windows SDK, the previous releases were of beta versions, and along with the new release of Kinect for Windows 1.0, Microsoft has also released it Kinect for Windows hardware.

The Kinect for Windows hardware has started shipping in the US, Europe, UK and a number of other countries around the world, and the hardware for Kinect for Windows retails for $249.99.

Sony has unveiled this week that their new PS Vita games will be priced cheaper than the retail versions. Sony has revealed that any digital games purchased in the US or Japan PlayStation Stores to be downloaded, will come with a 10% discount over their retail versions. Showing that Sony has learnt their lesson with the PSP Go and that retailers are still not 100 percent ready to swap to digital games just yet.

JVC has added another iPhone and iPod dock to their range, the JVC N-BX3 Nightstand dock, which isn’t just an iPhone and iPod dock, but also a piece of furniture that is designed to replace you existing nightstand.

The JVC N-BX3 features a built in dock which will work with the iPhone and iPod, and it measures 500mm by 300mm by 110mm and it weighs in at 20kg.

London Bins Now Equipped With LCD Screens

The City of London has started rolling out and installing high tech bins that are equipped with LCD screens to keep pedestrians up to date on the news and travel services.

Called Renew Bins the project has been developed over the last couple of years and is now looking to makes in mark in the 2012 Olympics which will be hosted in London later this year. The Renew Bins are equipped with two LCD screens and can be enabled to also act as mobile hotspots.

BioWare and FUNimation has today released a new trailer for its upcoming Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker anime film which it hopes to launch later this year, in the spring.

UK Retailer Stops Selling Transformer Prime Tablet Due To Device Issues

Asus launched their Transformer Prime tablet at the end of last year, although the device has been in short supply, users who managed to get their hands on the tablet have had a number of issues with the device.

First users reported problems with GPS on the Transformer Prime, and now the latest problems include devices locking up, and now one UK retailer has announced that they will stop selling he device due to the problems.

We just heard that Samsung wont launch the Galaxy S III at MWC 2012 later this month, although we are expecting them to launch some other new smartphones as well as some new tablets.

Now two new Samsung tablets, which have yet to be announced have been discovered on recent certifications issued by the WiFi Alliance, the Samsung GT-P3100 and the GT-P5100.

Ultrabooks were popular at this years CES, although most of the models we have seem so far are higher priced around the $1,000 and above mark, Intel has been looking to get the price of these new notebooks down.

iBamboo Urban Speaker Dock Now Created In Recycled Plastic

Back in June last year we featured a new iBamboo speaker dock which was constructed from.. you guessed it Bamboo. Now Anatoliy Omelchenko of Triangle Tree the manufactures and designers of the original iBamboo speaker dock have unveiled a new line of speaker docks called the Urban which are created from recycled plastic.

The new iBamboo Urban speaker dock has been created after custom feedback, and requests for a products that was a little more robust that the original iBamboo. Triangle Tree is currently in the process of sourcing manufactures to produce their new iBamboo Urban speaker dock, which will be available in both clear and solid colour versions for around $29.

Earlier we saw the new Nikon Coolpix P310 compact camera, and now Nikon has announced the Nikon Coolpix P510, which is the replacement for the Nikon Coolpix P500.

The Nikon Coolpix P510 features a 42x optical zoom lens that has a range of 24mm to 1000mm (Equivalent in 35-mm [135] format), and it features the same 16.1 megapixel backside illuminated CMOS sensor that is found in the Coolpix P310.

Nikon has added a new range of camera to its line up this morning, one of those is the new Nikon Coolpix P310, which is the successor to the Nikon Coolpix 300.

The Nikon Coolpix 310 features a 16.1 megapixel backside illuminated CMOS sensor, it comes with an ISO range of up to 3200 or a Hi 1 setting which is equivalent to 6400.
