Chinese iPhone 4S Clone Comes With Android 4.0 ICS Posted: 14 Feb 2012 05:22 AM PST The iPhone 4S recently went on sale in China, and we have already seen a couple of cloned iPhones before here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is designed to look exactly like the iPhone 4S. As you can see from the photo’s below, the device looks very similar to Apple’s iPhone 4S, even down to the packaging, but it doesn’t feature Apple’s iOS as it operating system, instead it is using the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Now Hasbro has unveiled their next generation Monopoly board game which now includes debit cards that can be “scanned” using iOS devices. The new Hasbro Monopoly zAPPed version of the popular property game is expected to arrive in stores in the spring and be priced at around $25 or £16. HTC To Get PlayStation Certification For Mobile Devices? According to a recent report by Pocket Lint, HTC will be one of the first companies outside of Sony that will receive PlayStation certification for certain smartphones. Google’s Motorola Takeover Approved By DOJ Posted: 14 Feb 2012 12:06 AM PST Last week we heard that the Motorola takeover by Google was about to receive approval by the US Department of Justice, the approval has now been granted and the deal cam go ahead. Google also recently received approval of the Motorola deal by the European Commission, which means that Google now has the approval they require for the $12.5 billion deal to go ahead. Posted: 13 Feb 2012 10:07 PM PST The iFixit team have been at its again with their screwdrivers this week, and applied their dismantling skills to Motorola’s Droid 4 smartphone, revealing its inner workings for all to see. After taking the Motorola Droid 4 apart, iFixit only awarded the smartphone a measly 4 out of 10 for repairability, due to the poor way the Droid 4 has been put together. Making it very tricky to replace certain items now the keyboard is integrated into the motherboard. Meaning you’ll have to replace both components if a key on the keyboard becomes faulty. Noire established a franchise fit to share the pantheon of GTA and Red Dead Redemption. However, even with the game’s success, its earnings will probably not match its hefty development cost. Fortunately, sequels are nothing if not profitable, as the technology and production pipeline are already in place.
