The new feature has been rolled out today and is found by when viewing a photo in the lightbox mode, under Actions down in the bottom righthand corner. If you would prefer not to allow users to be able to download full size images of your photos, simply goto your Google+ settings and uncheck the “Allow viewers to download my photos” checkbox. | HTC Explorer Headed To Vodafone UK Posted: 29 Sep 2011 07:17 AM PDT Earlier today HTC announced their latest Android smartphone the HTC Explorer which is designed to be a budget Android device, we have already heard it is headed to UK mobile operator Three, and now the guys over at Vodafone UK just dropped us an email to let us know that the HTC Explorer will be available on their network in the UK. The HTC Explorer will come with Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and will also feature the latest version of HTC’s custom user interface, HTC Sense 3.5.

The Motorola Defy+ has a 3.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, there is 2GB of built n storage, plus a microSD card slot, processing is provided by a single core 1GHz processor and it will come with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.

| Apple’s Steve Jobs Attempted To Discuss Patent Issues With Samsung Posted: 29 Sep 2011 06:28 AM PDT Apple and Samsung are currently engaged in more than 20 different court cases in nine countries around the world, the cases relate to patents which each company is accusing the other one of infringing related to smartphones and tablets. Samsung has been Apple’s biggest supplier for some time now, and has supplied Apple many of the parts for its iPhone’s iPad’s and iPod Touch, and now according to Bloomberg, Apple’s former CEO, Steve Jobs attempted to enter into negotiations with Samsung, before the matters were brought to court.

Around 200 fake iPhone’s were received in the raid, and when they were looked at more closely, they were found to contain actual Apple components, and were hard to tell apart from the real iPhone. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, there is also a dual core 1GHz processor and it is capable of playing back full HD video in 1080p.

Speaking to PC Mag, Jenkins said that Amazon won’t help hackers root the device, be he also said that they wont go out of their way to stop people rooting the Kindle Fire.

| Apple Fixes 24 Inch Cinema Display, Thunderbolt Mac Flickering Issue Posted: 29 Sep 2011 03:43 AM PDT If you have purchased on of Apple’s new Cinema Displays and connected it your new Thunderbolt mac system you might have noticed a little bit of flickering on the display at random times. If you have you will be pleased to know that Apple has been on the case and has now created a fix for the issue. A new firmware has been created to correct the issue but has not yet been publicly released by Apple so still use a little caution and read the documentation before applying the new firmware. Apple also says that this firmware update may not resolve the flickering issue if a Mini DisplayPort extender cable is used. | Samsung Stratosphere Full Specifications Leaked Posted: 29 Sep 2011 03:32 AM PDT We have already seen some leaked photos of the new Samsung Stratosphere, which is headed to Verizon, and now the guys over at Droid Life have got their hands on the full specifications, it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features a slide out QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung Stratosphere is powered by a single core 1GHz, and has 512MB of RAM, plus 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards and it will come with a 4GB microSD card.

We had heard previously that the Nexus Prime may come with a dual core TI OMAP 4460 processor, but now it would appear it may come with Samsung’s latest Exynos processor which has just been announced.
