Here Comes The Zombie Virus! Scientists Turn Inorganic Matter Into Living Organism

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 11:23 AM PDT

The entire Resident Evil film franchise should probably be blamed for this catastrophe in the making. Might as well spread the guilt and include the TV adaptation of The Living Dead and a few rather zombie-filled first person shooters. But wait, wait, this isn’t exactly a zombie virus as depicted in movies (at least not yet). At the moment it’s quite the breakthrough. Revolutionary stuff!

Google Releases First Google+ API

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 05:09 AM PDT

Earlier this month it was rumoured that Google would not be releasing a Google+ API any time soon to developers. But today Google has announced the release of a new Google+ API via its Google+ Platform Blog, although the API doesn’t allow everything to be harnessed by developers.

The new API focusses on public data only enabling developers create apps using Oauth2 authentication that can only currently read information Google+ users have shared publicly on Google+. So the current API falls far short of a full blown API developers would have rather seen released by Google.

Ever Heard Of WiFi Refugees?

Apparently there’s this condition called Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (or EHS) that’s ruining a lot of lives. How? It makes its victims so paranoid around cellular devices and WiFi networks—believing proximity to such tech irradiates them—that they decide to opt out of society.

Thus, WiFi refugees have come into existence. The almost too-unbelievable  part is groups of them have been flocking to a far away town for their protection.
