4G HTC Jetstream Tablet Announced as AT&T Exclusive

This is good news! AT&T has announced that it will be getting a new tablet from HTC called the Jetstream that will work on LTE and HSPA+ 4G networks. This is the first 4G tablet to support both networks for AT&T. This is also the first tablet to run Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

Every entertainment center I have ever owned has been poorly ventilated. If you get a DVR, a game console, and an AV receiver inside a cabinet with doors and only four little holes to let the heat out your gear may not be long for this world. Antec has a new cooling device that looks like ones for notebooks, but this is one just for home theater gear.

HP TouchPad Last Run To Be US Only

Earlier today we heard that HP would be releasing more HP TouchPad tablets in the next few weeks to satisfy the demand for the $99 tablet, now it looks like the last run of TouchPad tablets will be US only.

The guys over at Mobot spoke to HP’s PR agency, and have found out that the last ever HP TouchPad tablets will be available in the US only, so that means no more TouchPad tablets for us here in the UK and Europe.

Apple To Offer Web Based Diagnostic Tool For iOS Devices

It looks like Apple is planning on releasing a new web based diagnostic tool for iOS devices, according to a recent report from Hardmac, and the new tool could be used by Apple technicians to diagnose problems with Apple devices remotely.

This would enable Apple to potentially fix any problems with your iOS device over the phone, without having to actually take it into an Apple store fr it to be fixed.

Samsung just announced the US models of the Galaxy S II smartphone, and we recently heard that they would be launching a white version here in the UK, which was expected to be available from tomorrow.

Fujifilm FinePix X10 Photos Leaked

LG Thrill 4G Lands On AT&T 4th September

Some of our readers will remember the new LG Thrill 4G which was due to launch on AT&T earlier this summer, good news if you have been waiting to get your hands on one as it will finally be available from AT&T on the 4th of September.

The LG Thrill is the AT&T branded version of LG's Optimus 3D, and it comes with a 4.3 inch 3D display that can display 3D content without the need for 3D glasses, it will come with Android 2.2.

HTC Runnymede Smartphone With 4.7 Inch Display Revealed

It looks like HTC is getting ready to launch a new Android smartphone with an even larger display than the HTC Holiday, the HTC Runnymede which is reported to come with a massive 4.7 inch display.

According to a recent report the HTC Runnymede with come with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, a single core 1.5GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 16GB of built in storage plus a micro SD card slot.

Samsung Series 7 Chronos Laptop Announced

Samsung has added another new notebook to its range with the launch of the Samsung Series 7 Chronos, which comes with a choice of either a 15 inch HD LED display or a 15.6 inch HD LED display, both with a resolution of 1600 x 900.

Processing is provided by either and Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processor and it also comes with 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz RA, AMD Radeon HD6750M graphics, a 750GB hard drive.

Motorola Defy+ Headed To The UK In September

Some of our readers will remember the new Motorola Defy+ rugged Android smartphone that was announced a couple of weeks ago, it was scheduled to launch in Europe Asia and Latin America and now it looks like it will go on sale in the UK in September.

The Motorola Defy comes with a 3.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, there is 2GB of built n storage, plus a microSD card slot, processing is provided by a single core 1GHz processor and it will come with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.

HP To Release Software Update For HP TouchPad

More good news today for fans of HP’s TouchPad tablet, earlier we heard that HP will be releasing one final run of HP TouchPads, and now HP has announced that they will be releasing a further software update for the TouchPad.

HP haven’t given any details on what exactly will be included in the software update for the TouchPad, all they have said is that it will be released as an OTA (Over The Air) update and it will enhance the platform and functionality.

Mozilla Firefox For Tablets Gets Previewed

Mozilla has shown of a new version of its popular Firefox browser for tablets, specifically for Android Honeycomb tablets, and the popular browser gets a new tablet friendly user interface.

Firefox for tablets is based on the original smartphone version of Firefox, although it has been optimized to make use of tablets larger displays, and it will feature tabs and many more function just like in the mobile version.

Motorola Pro+ Android Smartphone For Europe Announced

Motorola has announced its latest Android smartphone for Europe and Asia, the Motorola Pro+, which is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread device with a QWERTY keyboard.

The Motorola Pro+ features a 3.1 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels, there is also a 4 megapixel camera with an LED flash and built in auto-focus.

Samsung Galaxy S II Gets Official For US

Samsung has finally officially announced the popular Galaxy S II for the US, and it will be available with three of the major US carriers in the US which include AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Sprint will be calling their version the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G, and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4.52 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, WiMax 4G, an 8megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back and a front facing 2 megapixel camera, plus Bluetooth and 802.11 B/g/n WiFi.

Apple Wants Their MacBook Pro 3G Prototype Back

Some of our readers will remember the MacBook Pro 3G prototype that we featured on the site a few weeks ago, the device turned up on eBay and reached a massive $70,000 in bids before it was removed from eBay by Apple.

Now it looks like Apple want’s its prototype back, and there is also an interesting story behind the device, it was originally purchased by Carl Frega, who bought it on Craiglist.

HP To Produce More TouchPad Tablets To Meet Demand

Recently HP decided to kill of the TouchPad tablet, they also dropped the price of the TouchPad down to $99, and were met by huge demand for the tablet, and it quickly sold out everywhere.

HP were obviously taken by surprise by the response to the price drop, and have decided to produce one last run of TouchPad tablet, which will be sold for the same $99 discounted price as before, so HP will obviously be taking another loss on the last run of TouchPad’s.

New Dragon Age 3 Details Emerge

Dragon Age 2 had problems. Dragon Age 3 will have some as well. Hopefully not as many and from the looks of it, possibly not the same ones. Among the things the Dragon Age team is working to fix, according to Dragon Age franchise Creative Director Mark Laidlaw, are companion equippables, repetitiv content, surprise enemy waves and quite a bit more. It’s all been rounded up in a nice little package on NeoGAF.

Mass Effect 3 To Be Shepard’s Last Ever Game

Phenomenally stupid  female Shepard hair colour polls aside, Commander Shepard was probably one of the most memorable protagonists Bioware has ever created. Bioware isn’t really known for drawing its protagonists’ stories, however and Shepard is definitely not getting even a hint of special treatment. Mass Effect 3 is the last game featuring Shepard as anything other than a cameo (and/or Citadel shop spokesman).
