Toshiba Unveils New Camcorders at IFA 2011

Toshiba unlived three new and compact camcorders at IFA 2011 today. They share some of the same features and have a few key differences as well. The cameras include the Camileo Clip, X200, and X400 cameras. The X200 and X400 have lots of zoom with 12x optical and 23x respectively. The Clip has 10x zoom.

LG Unveils PZ850T TVs with Touch Pen Drawing Action

LG has unveiled a new line of TVs called the PZ850T Pentouch TV. The sets will come in 50-inch or 60-inch screen sizes. The big feature is that the screen comes with a digital pen that the users can draw on the screen with. It looks sort of like a TV version of the Paint program on your PC.

iPhone 5 Case Hints At Thinner Design

We have been hearing a number of rumors about the new iPhone 5 over the last few months, one of those is that it would feature a thinner design than the existing iPhone 4, we have also heard that it would feature a larger display.

Now the guys over at Macitynet have got their hands on what is reported to be a new case for the iPhone 5, and the photo below shows the iPhone 5 case with an iPhone 4 inside it, which gives us some idea of the size of the new iPhone 5 compared to the existing iPhone 4.

Pogoplug has launched a new gadget, the Pogoplug mobile, which is a device that is connected to your home network, you can then stream music, videos and photos direct to your smartphone or tablet.

The device will also stream your content over the Internet, so you can use it when you are away from home, and you favourite tunes and videos can be stored on hard droves, USB drives and SD cards.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 And Galaxy Note Not Coming To The US?

Yesterday Samsung announced a number of new products, which included the new Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, which we were expecting to go on sale in the US as well as Europe.

Now according to a recent report from the guys over at GottaBeMobile, Samsung has ‘no plans’ to launch these two new devices in the US, according to a Samsung representative who spoke to Xavier Lanier from GottaBeMobile.

Here is another new Samsung device which we missed from the other day, the Samsung Wave 3, which is a new Samsung Bada OS 2.0 device, and it will come with a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED Display.

Processing on the Samsung Wave 3 comes from a 1.4GHz processor and it features a 5 megapixel camera on the back with auto-focus and an LED flash, plus a VGA camera up front for video chat.

Sony Launches Sony Entertainment Network

Sony has launched the Sony Entertainment network, which is basically a combination of all Sony’s online services in one place, which includes music, games, and movies.

The new SEN is made of up Sony’s PlayStation network, and its online msuic and video streaming services, and the SEN offers over 10 million music tracks as well as TV channels and movies which can be accessed from the PS3, Sony PC’s, Bravia TVs and Sony’s Android devices.

Acer is the latest company to announced a new ultrabook notebook with the new Acer Aspire S3, and this new ultrabook looks exactly like the same one that was leaked last month.

The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook features a 13.3 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and it measures just 0.51 inches thick and will be available with a choice of Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors.

LG Optimus Sol Android Smartphone Gets Official

Some of our readers will remember the new LG Optimus Sol smartphone that was leaked last month, LG has now officially announced the device and it looks like it will be headed to Europe later this month, and then the US shortly afterwards.

The LG Optimus Sol features a 3.8 inch WVGA Ultra AMOLED display, and according to LG the new display is supposed to make the devices screen easier to view in direct sunlight.

Turbine Powered Batmobile Can Be Yours For $620,000 (Video)

Some of our reader will remember the turbine powered Batmobile that we featured on Geeky Gadgets back in July, the maker of this cool Batmobile has decided to put it up for sale and it is now listed on eBay for $620,000.

The turbine powered Batmobile was created by Casey Putsch, and it features a Boeing turbine engine from a decommissioned military helicopter, the video below shows it in action.

According to a recent report by DigiTimes, Barnes & Noble are getting ready to launch a new version of their Nook Color later this month, the Nook Color 2, and it is expected to come with a 7 inch full color touchscreen display.

The report also says that the new Nook Color 2 will come with a range of features which include support for email, apps and games, and more features over the existing Nook Color.

Yesterday we finally got full details on Sony’s new Android tablets, the first one, the Sony Tablet S is now available to pre-order in the UK, with the 16GB WiFi only model retailing for £399, and the 16GB WiFi and 3G model retailing for £499.

The Sony Tablet S features a 9.4 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and it comes with Android 3.1 Honeycomb.

Yesterday we saw two new cameras from Samsung, the Samsung NX200 and the Samsung WB570, today we have the new Samsung MV800 compact camera, which features a 3 inch flip out LCD display with a resolution of 432 x 240 pixels.

The Samsung MV800 features a 16.1 megapixel sensor, plus a 26mm lens with 5x optical zoom, and it also has an ISO range of up to 3200, plus a range of built in features and effects.

Yesterday we saw a bunch of new products from Samsung which included the Samsung Galaxy WiFi 3.6, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Note, and the Samsung NX200, one of Samsung’s new products that we missed is the Samsung Navibot S.

The Samsung Navibot is a robot vacuum cleaner, and it is designed to clean your house, and it comes with a docking station which is used to charge the vacuum cleaner, and it wall also empty the dust and dirt it has collected into the docking station.

The other day we heard a rumor that Toshiba were set to announce a new ultra thin Android tablet, its now official, the Toshiba AT200 which will come with the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

The Toshiba AT200 measures just 7.7mm thick, and it features a 10.1 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels, which means it will be able to handle HD movies in 720p.

iPhone Prototype Suspects Plead Not Guilty

The other day we heard that another iPhone prototype had been left in a bar, and it looks like it could be this years iPhone 5, the device has still yet to be found. The same thing happened last year with the iPhone 4, although this one was found in the bar it was left in.

The device was then sold to Gizmodo, and they published a number of stories and videos about the device, the police then decided to raid the house of Gizmodo editor Jason Chen, and later announced that they wouldn’t be pressing any charges against Jason Chen or Gizmodo.

Viewsonic has added three new tablets to its range with the launch of the Viewsonic ViewPad 10pro, the ViewPad 7e and the ViewPad 7x. First up if the Viewsonic ViewPad 10pro, which comes with a 10 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels.

The ViewSonic 10pro comes with two operating systems, and it can dual booth either Android 2.3 Gingerbread of Windows 7 Professional, on top of that you will be able to quickly switch between the two operating systems.
