Time Warner Offering Slingbox Rebates To Its Wideband Service Subscribers Posted: 24 Aug 2011 09:25 AM PDT Time Warner has today announced that it will help subscribers to its $99-a-month Wideband Internet service with rebates on purchases made by Wideband customers for the Slingbox set-top box. Currently the Slingbox is available to purchase for $300 and Time Warner will offer a full rebate on the price as part of a promotion expected to start in September. The move is thought to be in response to the legal battle between Viacom and Time Warner over the live streaming of content to the iPad application. The Symbian Belle operating system has been designed to provide smartphone users more flexibility to personalise their user experience on mobile devices, and will be available as a free update for all users of handsets currently running Symbian Anna. Apple Wins EU Wide Ban On Samsung Galaxy S Series Smartphones Posted: 24 Aug 2011 07:06 AM PDT Apple has just chalked up a great win in their ongoing battle with Samsung by winning an injunction preventing Samsung to sell their Galaxy S Series smartphones within the EU. The new injunction has been granted by Rechtbank ‘s-Gravenhage, a Dutch court in the city of The Hague. The court has issued a formally Europe-wide preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy S, Galaxy S II and Ace smartphones. Following on from a similar injunction granted by a German court a couple of weeks ago. The Sony A65 is however fitted with a 24-megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor, and is capable of 10 frames per second shooting with continuous autofocus. With an ISO range stretching from ISO 100-16,000. Its also equipped with a standard 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and its AF system is a little more scaled down when compared to the A77 as you would expect. Its constructed from polycarbonate and incorporates a XGA OLED Tru-Finder featuring an 2359k dot (XGA) resolution screen on its rear.
