The problems led to the South Korean Fair Trade Commission (FTC) investigating Blizzard, which in turn led to the FTC eventually raiding Blizzard's Korean office. | LG VS930 Appears At The FCC, Could Be LG Optimus LTE II For Verizon Posted: 21 Jun 2012 05:32 AM PDT LG launched their Optimus LTE II smartphone in Korea a while back, we have heard rumors in the past that the device may also be headed to the US, and now a device with the model number LG VS930 has appeared at the FCC. According to the guys over at Engadget, the LG VS930 is possibly the Verzion version of the LG Optimus LTE II, although this has yet to be confirmed by LG.

| Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III Delayed, Unless You Pre-ordered Posted: 21 Jun 2012 03:32 AM PDT The Samsung Galaxy S III was due to go on sale in the US today with Sprint, as well as a range of other mobile carriers, but now it would appear that the handset has been delayed on Sprint’s network. According to a recent report from Engadget, who spoke to a Sprint representative, the device will not be available in Sprint stores from today, due to overwhelming demand.

| Apple Fined $2.28 Million In Australia Over iPad 4G Claims Posted: 21 Jun 2012 02:55 AM PDT We recently heard that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission had decided that Apple would have to pay $2.25 million for misleading consumers with the new iPad and its 4G claims when the device was sold in the country. Apple had agreed to pay the fine to the Australian Authorities, and now the court dealing with the case has ruled that Apple has to pay a total of $2.28 million to settle the case.

| Samsung Responds To Heat Damage Issue On Galaxy S III Smartphone Posted: 21 Jun 2012 02:08 AM PDT Samsung’s Galaxy S III smartphone goes on sale in the US today, and there have been a few online reports of some of the Galaxy S III smartphones suffering from some sort of heat damage, which you can see in the photo below. There are no details as yet on whether this has just happened to one or two devices, or whether the problem is more widespread, but Samsung has responded to the issue and have said they are looking into it, you can see their statement below.

| Dutch Court Orders Apple To Pay Samsung Damages In 3G Patent Case Posted: 21 Jun 2012 01:24 AM PDT Yesterday we heard that Samsung had won a lawsuit in the Netherlands regarding one patent relating to 3G on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1, and now the Dutch court has ordered Apple to pay damages to Samsung. No details have been revealed as yet on how much Apple will have to pay Samsung on Damages, but the court has said that the damages will be based on Apple’s sales of the iPhone and iPad in the Netherlands.

| Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Gets Official Posted: 21 Jun 2012 12:53 AM PDT Microsoft has officially announced the latest version of their mobile OS, Windows Phone 8 Apollo which will be available later this year, although it looks like it will only be available with new Windows Phone devices and not existing Windows Phone smartphones. Windows Phone 8 adds support for multi-core processors, and displays with a resolution up to WXGA, which is 1280 x 768 pixels, there will also be support for external storage on SD cards.
