TRENDnet Announces New TPL-407E Powerline Networking Adapter

TRENDnet has announced a new 500 Mbps powerline networking adapter that has an integrated outlet. That integrated outlet is a big deal if your office or room is short on power outlets already. The adapter appears to be large enough to block both outlets. At least you can plug a surge protector a power strip into it and get more outlets in your room.

Sega Announces Playable Danica Patrick Character in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Sega has announced at E3 2012 that it has partnered with NASCAR driver Danica Patrick. Patrick races for JR Motorsports and will be featured as a playable character in the coming Sega videogame Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The game is set to launch this holiday season.

Sony Announces Waterproof HDR-GW77V Camcorder for the US

That little camera sounded pretty good but sadly was only announced for Japan at the time. Sony has now come back and announced that the camcorder is coming to the US under the same model name.

Nyko And Nvidia Unveil New PlayPad Android Controllers

At E3 this week Nvidia and Nyko have unveiled their new PlayPad controllers, which have been specifically designed for use with Android devices equipped with Tegra 3 chipsets.

The new Bluetooth enabled PlayPad controllers are equipped with dual analog sticks, with sliders on the non-Pro version. Together with directional pads, shoulder bumpers, and face buttons.

OnLive Unveils LG Smart TV Gaming With New MultiView Feature

Cloud gaming service OnLive has announced that their service will soon be arriving on LG’s line of Smart TVs and through almost any PC or Mac browser an even via smartphones and tablets.

The latest news was announced at E3 this week and was demonstrated on LG’s Smart TV systems.The OnLive system will allow gamers to either use Xbox 360 wireless controllers or OnLive’s own wireless controller, as well as other compatible controllers.

CompuLab Ivy Bridge Fanless Intense PC Launches

CompuLab has launched its very first fan less PC equipped with Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge 3rd generation Core processor, in the form of the Intense PC mini system this week.

The Intense PC  was first announced by CompuLab back in March and has now made it available to purchase, providing the performance of a full desktop system in a tiny mini PC, measuring just 19 x 16 x 4 cm.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III Not Launching Until July

Samsung announced recently that their Galaxy S III smartphone would be available with five mobile carriers in the US, the majority of those carriers have now revealed their launch dates and the handset will hit most of them this month.

Verizon Wireless announced yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy S III was available to pre-order, unfortunately they did not say when the handset would actually go on sale.

Lenovo To Launch Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Later This Year

Lenovo has confirmed that they are working on a new smartphone that will use Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 platform, which is expected to be released some time within the next few months.

Google Acquires Meebo Chat And Social Network

It’s been revealed today that Google has acquired chat and social sharing website Meebo, for an undisclosed sum. Apple’s Siri Coming To The iPad In iOS 6

Apple’s voice activated virtual assistant is only available on one Apple device, the iPhone 4S, but now according to a recent report by 9 to 5 Mac, Apple intends to make Siri available on their iPad with the launch of iOS 6.

According to the report Siri on the iPad will support the majority of features that are found on the iPhone, excluding the phone related commands, and it may be available on the iPad 2 as well as the new iPad 3.

Motorola Droid RAZR And RAZR Maxx To Get Android 4.0 ICS Update June 12th

Motorola recently confirmed that they would be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx by the end of quarter 2, which would give them to the end of this month to release the update.

According to a recent report by Cnet, who have received some information from Verizon, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for both devices will be released on Verizon on the 12th of June.

Micorosoft Sells More Than 600 Million Windows 7 Licenses

It looks like Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 7 has been popular for the company as Microsoft has announced that they have now sold more than 600 million Windows 7 licenses.

Microsoft announced back in January that they had sold a total of 525 million Windows 7 licenses, so that is in an increase of 75 million in just five months.

Windows Phone Marketplace Hits 100,000 Apps

Back in April we heard that Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace had hits 80,000 applications published, and now it looks like Microsoft has hit another milestone as according to a recent report more than 100,000 applications have been published.

Although there have been more than 100,000 applications published to the Windows Phone Marketplace, not all of them are available to download, according to the report there are currently 88,371 apps available at the moment.

MSI Slider S20 Hybrid Ultrabook Tablet Unveiled (video)

At the Computex exhibition in Taipei this week, MSI has taken the wraps off its new MSI Slider S20 hybrid ultrabook and tablet. The MSI Slider S20 is equipped with a 11.6-inch screen, is less than 2 cms thick and weighs in at 1.3 kilograms.

Virgin Mobile To Offer Pre-Paid iPhone

According to a recent report from the Wall Street Journal, Virgin Mobile will be offering Apple’s iPhone on their pay as you go offerings from July the 1st, they will be the second US carrier to offer a pre-paid version of Apple’s iPhone.

Virgin Mobile is owned by Sprint, and according to the report Sprint are using their Virgin Mobile brand to help boost sales of the iPhone after they committed to a $15.5 billion contract with Apple.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III To Feature GSM Global Roaming

HTC One X Lands In AT&T Stores June 10th
