| Asus Announces Deal With Bluestacks To Bring Android Apps To Asus PCs Posted: 04 Jun 2012 02:11 AM PDT Asus has announced a deal with Bluestacks that will bring their software to all of Asus’s PCs and will give those PCs the ability to run Android applications using the Bluestacks App player. Asus will make the Bluestacks App player available as a free download from today, and it should be compatible with the majority of Asus computers that have been released over the last couple of years.

| Asus Announces Windows 8 Transformer Book Posted: 04 Jun 2012 02:02 AM PDT Asus has announced another Windows 8 device, this one is called the Asus Transformer Book and the devices is a convertible notebook that will be available with a range of Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 Ivy Bridge processors. The Asus Transformer Book will also be available with a range of different screen sizes, which include an 11.6 inch, 13 inch and 14 inch display, all of the displays will come with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

| Apple’s New Nano SIM Card Standard Approved Posted: 04 Jun 2012 01:55 AM PDT Apple has been trying to get its new Nano SIM card design approved to be used as the industry standard, whilst companies like Nokia and RIM and Motorola have been trying to get an alternative design approved. Now it would appear that Apple’s design has been accepted and will be used for the new Nano SIM card for future smartphones, the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute, and Apple’s design has been approved and will be used going forward.

| Android 4.0 ICS Now On 7.1 Percent Of Android Devices Posted: 03 Jun 2012 11:54 PM PDT Google has released its latest Android distribution figures, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is now on a total of 7.1 percent of all Android devices, this has increased from 4.9 percent in May. Android Honeycomb is on 2.7 percent of devices, this has dropped from 3.3 percent in May, and Android Gingerbread is on 64.6 percent of devices, this has increased slightly from 64.4 percent in May.
