AMD Shows off Tiny LifeBox Nettop

AMD has pulled the wraps off of a tiny little nettop computer that should be easy to place in a crowded office or entertainment center. The machine is called the LifeBox and has no part that has to sit on your desk. The entire computer plugs into your AC outlet in the wall.

THD N2-A MacBook Air Clone Runs Android

I like the looks of the MacBook Air, but I’m not a big fan of the Mac operating system and certainly won’t shell out $1000 or more for the Air just because the machine looks cool. I bet there are several people out there that feel the same way. At Computex, a MacBook air clone surfaced from a company called THD.

South Park: The Stick of Truth coming May 5th 2013

Looks like we won’t be seeing the upcoming South Park: The Stick of Truth game this year. During E3, Trey Parker and Matt Stone showed off the trailer and also revealed that it would be arriving on the 5th of March 2013. That’s a bummer, but at least we have lots of other cool games.

Canon Eos Rebel T4i Photo Leaked

It looks like Canon is about to launch a new DSLR as a photo and some specifications of a new Canon Eos Rebel T4i DSLR, which is reported to be announced tomorrow.

The Canon Eos Rebel T4i DSLR is expected to come with an 18 megapixel sensor, plus a 3 inch one million dot LCD touchscreen display and an ISO range of 100 to 12,800.

Wikipad Gaming Tablet Equipped With Tegra 3 Quad Core Chip

At E3 this week Wikipad has revealed they have chosen Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core SoC to power their gaming tablet, which will run Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.

Other features of the new Wikipad are thought to include glasses-free 3D and 1080p playback including H.264, VC1, VOB, ISO, M2TS, and FLV support. As well as 8GB of storage with an SD card slot capable of increasing it to 64GB, together with optional 3G module.

Apple’s 2012 Mac Pro To Feature 8 Core Xeon E5 Processors (Rumor)

Apple hasn’t released a new version of their Mac Pro for a couple of years, the last version was launched back in 2010, and we recently heard that Apple are expected to launch some new Mac Pros next week at their WWDC which starts next Monday the 11th of January.

According to a recent report Apple’s 2012 Mac Pro will come with Intel’s new Xeon E5 8 Core processor and will apparently feature 1600MHz memory with 8 channels.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 Now Available In The UK

Samsung has announced that their Galaxy Mini 2 smartphone which was announced back in February is now available in the UK, and the handset comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 features a 3.27 inch HVGA touchscreen display and is powered by a single core 800MHz processor, it also comes with a 3 megapixel fixed focus rear facing camera.

RIM Discontinues 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

RIM has discontinued one of its BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, the device has been available in three different versions with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of storage.

Virgin Mobile Pre-Paid iPhone 4 And iPhone 4S Get Official

Yesterday we heard a rumor that US mobile carrier Virgin Mobile would be offering a pre-paid version of Apple’s iPhone on their network in the US, and Virgin Mobile has now officially announced that they will carry Apple’s smartphones.

Virgin mobile will be offering Apple’s iPhone 4 and their iPhone 4S, and they will sell the iPhone 4 without the need for a monthly contract for $549 for the 8GB version.

Ubisoft Watch Dogs Will Include Real-Time Mobile Device Cross-Play

Is This Google’s Nexus Tablet?

The guys over at Phone Arena have obtained some images which are reported to be of Google’s much rumored Nexus Tablet, we have previously heard that Asus is working on the Nexus Tablet with Google.

The photos below were sent into Phone Arena, so we have no idea if they are of the Nexus Tablet, the device is rumored to come with Android 4.1 and will apparently be powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

AMD Demos Compal Windows 8 Hybrid Tablet Prototype

AMD has shown off a new prototype Windows 8 hybrid tablet which has been made by Compal at this years Computex and it features an 11.6 inch display plus a detachable keyboard dock.

The device is apparently running a 17W AMD Trinity BGA APU, which is designed for tablets and ultra thin notebooks, and it is designed to deliver performance but use less power than previous versions, around half the power of AMD’s previous 2011 APU.

Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.3 Details Unveiled By Blizzard

Blizzard has announced details for their upcoming Diablo III patch 1.0.3, which is due to roll out to gamers later this month. Blizzard’s Wyatt Cheng has explained on Battle.net that the patch will bring changes to the Inferno difficulty setting within Diablo III, together with changes to rare item drops on mod bosses, and bonus monster damage when playing in a group, to name just a few.

New iPhone Back Panel Poses For The Camera (Video)

We have already seen some photos of what is reported to be the new back panel for Apple’s next generation iPhone, and now we have a video of the iPhone back panel compared next to the iPhone 4S.

As you can see in the video below, this new iPhone back panel is considerably larger than the existing iPhone 4S, which would indicate that it will feature a 4 inch display as we heard previously.

The SoftKinetic DepthSense 325 builds on SoftKinetic past motion recognition technology, and is a pocket sized device that uses a camera to see both 3D depth, and high-definition 2D colour.

Google Working On New 3D Maps (Video)

We recently heard that Apple will unveil a new 3D mapping system in iOS 6, the company is expected to replace Google Maps with their own system on their iOS devices.

Apple Files FTC Complaint In An Attempt To Ban 29 HTC Smartphones

Apple recently won a ruling with the ITC which saw two of HTC’s Android device, the HTC One X and the HTC Evo 4G LTE held by US customs, the device were later released after it was found that they had a modified version of Android to get around the ITC ruling.

Now Apple has filed a new complaint with the ITC, and it is now looking to have a total of 29 HTC devices banned from importation into the US, and the list even includes the two devices which were cleared by US customs.

Wii U Spec Sheet Released By Nintendo

At E3 this week Nintendo have been show casing their new Wii U console, which is expected to arrive in time for the holiday season this year, and will be backwards compatible with current Wii games.

The Wii U has been in development since 2008, and even though it doesn’t bring any next generation console power or graphics. Nintendo has included a touch screen controller to try and tempt customers into upgrading to the new Wii U console. But is it enough?

Verizon Droid Incredible Coming June 28th?

Verizon announced the Droid Incredible 4G a while back, and they put the device up for pre-order, unfortunately they did not give an exact launch date for the handset.

Now it would appear that we may have a launch date of the 28th of June for the Droid Incredible 4G, as a number people who have pre-ordered the handset have apparently received an email from Best Buy saying that the handset will be available in the 28th of June, of course this has yet to be confirmed by Verizon.

Apple Looks To Ban Samsung Galaxy S III In The US

Samsung’s new Galaxy S III smartphone will go on sale in the US later this month, although if Apple has anything to do with it this won’t be the case as they have requested a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s new flagship Android device.

Apple has apparently added the new Samsung Galaxy S III to its lawsuit in which it is attempting to gain an injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and Apple says that the Galaxy S III infringes on two patents related to the Galaxy Nexus case.

EA’s Origin Not Providing Steam-Style 75% Off Discounts

Sony Talks PS4 After Game-Focused E3 Presentation
