Barnes & Noble cuts the price of Nook Tablet, Nook Color

It looks like somebody really really wants you to put a Nook tablet on your Christmas list this year. It’s no secret that Barnes & Noble recently unveiled two new tablets for next year, that doesn’t mean they have given up on the OG Nook tablet and Nook Color. They both just got another price cut.

The PS3 could finally be released in China

You may not be aware of this, but China currently has a console ban that has been in place since 2000. The reasons why are a tightly kept secret, but obviously China doesn't want it's young citizens to waste their lives in front of a TV screen and have fun like the rest of us. However, now six years after the worldwide release of the PlayStation 3, the console might make it into China.

Samsung Galaxy Premier hits the FCC without LTE connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy Premier has been one busy smartphone. Last month it visited the NCC in Taiwan, which is that country’s version of the FCC. Now, the mid-range device has visited the FCC and it arrived lacking 4G LTE connectivity.

Apple iPad mini piano ad

The latest ad for the Apple iPad mini is out and it shows the GarageBand app which turns the mini tablet into a working keyboard for those who are musically inclined. You might recognize the tune as “Heart and Soul” and the duet starts with the full-sized Apple iPad playing the left hand followed by the right hand part being played on an Apple iPad mini.

Twitter planning to add photo filters?

The fact that Instagram also features a smart photo filtering service makes the photo-sharing platform very attractive. Twitter once considered acquiring the company behind it. But after losing to Facebook, it was rumored that Twitter was planning to buy an Instagram-like company anyway. Now we hear that Twitter is planning to launch a range photo filters that its users can add to pictures.
