Some Wii U Owners Reporting Bricked Consoles Posted: 19 Nov 2012 06:37 AM PST Ninetndo’s Wii U console went on sale last night, and as soon as you get the console out of the box you have to perform a software update before you can start using your Wii U as we mentioned earlier. The update apparently takes around 30 minutes to download and is a pretty big update, and now some owners of the new device are reporting that their Wii U has been bricked after they have lost power while trying to install the software update. Samsung were quick to say that they would not be entering into a similar deal with Apple, but know it would appear that Samsung wants to see the agreement between HTC and Apple and have filed a motion with the courts in the US in an attempt to get their hands on the documents. December Birthday Bug Found In Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Posted: 19 Nov 2012 01:49 AM PST It looks like a new bug has been discovered in the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, if you go to add your birthday or anniversary to the people/contacts apps in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and you birthday is in December then it would appear that Google forgot to add December to the app. According to the guys over at Android Police in the app there are only 11 month of the year and December would appear to have been left out, it looks like this is on multiple devices running Android 4.2, which include the Nexus 7, nexus 10 and the new Nexus 4. Google Nexus 4 Gets Taken Apart Posted: 19 Nov 2012 12:11 AM PST Google recently launched their new Nexus 4 smartphone,and now the guys over at iFixit have decided to take the Nexus 4 apart to see what is inside Google’s new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean handset. The Google Nexus 4 features a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and 320ppi, processing is provided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz, it also feature 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 8GB or 16GB of storage, plus there is a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera.
