Solidoodle 3 3D Printer Available To Pre-Order

Solidoodle has this week announced that their new Solidoodle 3 3D printer is now available to pre-order, and offers one of the largest build areas in the consumer 3D printer market.

Grand Theft Auto might make its way onto the Wii U

Nokia Here iOS Maps App Arrives In The iTunes App Store

Following up from last weeks announcement by Nokia that they would soon be launching a mapping application for iOS devices. Nokia have today announced that their new Here iOS maps app is now available to download from the iTunes App Store for free.

So if you are not overly impressed by the removal of Google Maps and having to use the Apple maps applications, the Nokia maps app might offer you an alternative solution.

Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S III Mini Lands on Amazon For $420

Samsung recently launched their new Galaxy S III Mini smartphone, and now an unlocked version of the handset has turned up on Amazon for $419.95, which according to Amazon is $180 cheaper than the handsets retail price.

The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini features a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

It looks like Google is going to be releasing a white version of their new Nexus 4 smartphone, as the handset is now available to pre-order from UK mobile provide Talk Talk.

Nintendo Wii U Console Sold Out In The US

Nintendo recently launched their new Wii U console on Sunday night, and now it would appear thatn the Wii U is already sold out in the US, and it looks like the consoles are already appearing on eBay with inflated prices.

Nintendo have yet to provide any information on how many of their new Wii U console they have sold since it launched on Sunday, no doubt we will get some more details from them some time later this week.

Samsung Galaxy S IV To feature 13MP Camera, Quad Core 2GHz Processor (Rumor)

We are expecting Samsung to announce their new Galaxy S IV smartphone some time in 2013, they could possibly announce it at MWC 2013, but it could be later than that.

The new Samsung Galaxy S IV is rumored to come with a 4.99 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, we already know that Samsung is working on this new display and are expected to show it off early next year.

Firefox 17 Now Available to Download On Mac, Windows And Linux

Even though the official launch of Firefox 17 isn’t until tomorrow, the latest version of the new Mozilla browser is now available to download for Windows, Mac and Linux systems, via FTP.

No change log for the new browser has been released as yet by Mozilla but the beta change log provide you with a good idea of what you can expect to receive in the new version of Firefox 17 which is based on Gecko 17.

Whenever a new smartphone or tablet is released there is always someone out there who thinks it is a good idea to drop the gadget to see how well it does, and the latest gadget to get dropped and damaged is the new Google Nexus 4.

PS Vita 2.0 Firmware Adds New Email Client And Browser Performance

HTC CEO Says They Are Happy With Apple Licensing Deal

HTC and Apple recently announced a licensing deal which would cover any patents that Apple own on any HTC devices that rum Google’s Android OS, and we had heard rumors that HTC may be paying Apple between $6 and $8 for each device they produce.

HTC’s CEO Peter Chou has spoken about the deal, and has said that JTC are happy about the deal with Apple and that the estimates of $6 to $8 per device are completely wrong.

“The Witch” The World’s Oldest Original Working Digital Computer Rebooted

An historic computer weighing 2 tonnes and  built in the 1950′s called “The Witch”, has this month been rebooted after a three year restoration program to bring it back to life.

The Witch computer is now on display at The National Museum of Computing in Buckinghamshire, UK, but was originally designed an used  at the UK’s Atomic Energy Research Establishment at Harwell in Oxfordshire.

EE Launches 4G LTE SIM Only Plans In The UK

UK mobile carrier EE has announced the launch of their SIM only 4G LTE plans in the UK, and prices of the plans start at £21 oer month for a 12 month plan with 500MB of data included.

The most expensive plan will set you back £36 a month and for this you get 5GB of 4G data included as well as the ability to use your device for VoIP and tethering.

Over 1 Million Apps Have Been Submitted To Apple App Store

According to a recent report by Appsfire, over 1 million apps have been submitted to Apple’s app store, this is the number of apps approved by Apple since the app store was first introduced and not the total of apps available today.

There are less than 1 million apps available in the app store at the moment, the number includes the total apps approved by Apple since the app store launch and also apps which have been removed.

Sony Slashes Music Unlimited 12-month Subscriptions

Sony has announced a new offers this week for its both PlayStation Plus Members and non-members, which has slashed the prices of it’s streaming music service, Music Unlimited, to just $12 or £11.99 within the UK for PlayStation Plus Members.

A subscription to Sony’s Music Unlimited would have normally cost users $9.99 a month, so the new one-off payment of $12 and provides users of the music streaming service a healthy saving.

Samsung Launches Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE In South Korea

Samsung has launched a new version of their Galaxy Note 10.1 in South Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE which comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it will be available with the major carriers on South Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE comes with VoLTE support and features a 10.1 inch inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and it is powered by a quad core 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 processor.

Google Working On Open Alternative To Apple’s AirPlay

This week it has been reported by the GigaOm technology website that Google is currently developing an open alternative to Apple’s Airplay feature, which allows Apple device owners to stream content from their mobile devices to HDTV’s and sound systems.

Microsoft Looking Into Windows Phone 8 Random Reboots

Yesterday we heard that a number of owners of Windows Phone 8 devices were having a number of issues with the devices, and it seemed to be happening to a number of Windows Phone 8 devices which include the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC Windows Phone 8x.

There were a couple of issues with Windows Phone 8 devices, the main one was that some devices were experiencing random reboots, and now Microsoft has confirmed to ZDnet that they are looking into the issue

Facebook Testing Automatic Photo Synchronisation On iOS Devices

Facebook has this week started testing a new service which allows iOS device owners to automatically sync photographs from their devices. Enabling you to easily then share your synced photos on your timeline from your desktop or mobile device.

Once you have enabled photo syncing on your iOS device, your mobile photos will be saved to a private section within your Facebook Photos, from where you can decide on how you would like to share them with others, via either post or private message.

Windows Phone 7 Smartphones To Get Updates Beyond 7.8

Microsoft recently launched Windows Phone 8, but existing devices will not be updated to Windows Phone 8, instead they will get updated to Windows Phone 7.8, and many people had thought that this would be the last software update for these devices.

Now it would appear that Windows Phone 7 devices will be updated beyond Windows Phone 7.8, possibly Windows Phone 7.9, as details have appeared online of a future Windows Phone update beyond 7.8 which is currently listed as 7.x.

ZTE Avid 4G LTE For MetroPCS Leaked

It looks like there is a new Android smartphone from ZTE headed to MetroPCS, the ZTE Avid 4G which has appeared online and was posted to Twitter by @evleaks, who has leaked a number of devices over the last few months.

Unfortunately all that was posted was the photo below, we do not have many specifications as yet, but we do know that the device will come with 4G LTE and possibly Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Kolos iPad Racing Wheel Controller Debuts
