| Nokia Lumia 521 Announced For T-Mobile Posted: 25 Feb 2013 07:45 AM PST Earlier today Nokia announced the Nokia Lumia 520, and now US mobile carrier T-Mobile has announced a version of the device that will be available exclusively through T-Mobile, the Nokia Lumia 521. The Nokia Lumia 521 will share similar specifications to the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521, which will include a a 4 inch IPS display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and a dual core 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

| Intel Clover Trail+ Dual Core Smartphone Processors Announced Posted: 25 Feb 2013 07:24 AM PST Intel has announced the launch of some new processors which are designed to be used in smartphones, the Intel Clover Trail+, which is a dual core mobile processor that will feature clock speeds of between 1.2GHz and 2GHz. Intel have said that they will launch at least three different processor’s in their Clover Trail+ range, with the Intel Atom Z2520 featuring a clock speed of 1.2GHz, and the Intel Atom Z2560 featuring a clock speed of 1.6GHz.

| LG To Use webOS In Its Smart TVs Posted: 25 Feb 2013 03:15 AM PST It looks like LG has purchased the rights for webOS from HP and LG will be using the previous Palm mobile software in its range of Smart TVs, and LG now apparently owns the webOS source code. LG will be using webOS in their Smart TVs in the future, and it doesn’t look like the have any plans to use webOS in future smartphones, so we guess that will be the end of webOS for smartphones unless LG change their mind in the future.

| Posted: 25 Feb 2013 02:27 AM PST Nokia has unveiled its latest Windows Phone smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 720 features a 4.3 inch CleakBlack display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and processing is in the form of a dual core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The Nokia Lumia 720 comes with dual cameras, up front we have a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, on the back we have a 6.7 megapixel BSI camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, auto-focus and an LED flash, the rear camera is capable of 720p HD video at 30 frames per second.

The last we heard, WhatsApp had no immediate plans to release an app for Blackberry 10. This was pretty sad because BBM only allowed for texting between Blackberry devices. WhatsApp opened things up and allowed communication between multiple platforms. Well, now we have some good news about the app.
