| NVIDIA Tegra 4i LTE Mobile Processor Announced Posted: 19 Feb 2013 06:29 AM PST NVIDIA has launched a new version of its Tegra 4 processor, the NVIDIA Tegra 4i, which is specifically designed for smartphones, the device was previously known as ‘project Grey’ and it features a total of 60 custom NVIDIA GPU cores. The NVIDIA Tegra 4i is a quad core processor which is based on on an R4 Cortex A9 processor that also features a 5th core and it comes with an NVIDIA i500 LTE modem built in.

According to a recent report the iPhone 5S will feature a quad core A7 processors, which you can see pictured below, there are no details as yet on what clock speed the processor will feature.

| HTC Tablet Coming AT HTC M7 Launch Event (Rumor) Posted: 19 Feb 2013 03:40 AM PST Earlier today we showed you an official teaser photo from HTC of their new HTC M7 that will be ann0unced at their press event later today, and know it would appear that HTC may also be unveiling a new tablet. The photo below was posted to Instagram by HTC, and as you can see it features a tablet shaped device covered up, HTC stop releasing tablets last year, although it would appear we may see a new one later today.

| Outlook.com Hits 60 Million User, Exits Beta Posted: 19 Feb 2013 02:24 AM PST Microsoft has announced that its new email service, Outlook.com, which is replacing Hotmail has now left Beta, they also announced that they now have over 60 million users, and it has taken them just six months to reach this milestone. They have also said that they expect their existing Hotmail to be upgraded to the new Outlook.com by the end of the summer, although Hotmail users can choose to upgrade to the service now.

| Apple Mac Pro Removed From European Apple Stores Posted: 19 Feb 2013 01:52 AM PST Apple announced recently that they would be withdrawing their Apple Mac Pro from sale in Europe, the reason this was being done was to do with new European regulations which come into force in Europe on the 1st of March. Apple said that the Mac Pro would be made available in Europe in the Spring, although they did not give a specific date on when the Mac Pro would go on sale in Europe again.

| Nokia Lumia 920 Headed To O2 UK Posted: 19 Feb 2013 01:39 AM PST Vodafone recently launched a number of Windows Phone 8 devices on their network here in the UK, and now UK mobile carrier O2 is about to offer another Windows Phone smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 920. O2 have now listed the Nokia Lumia 920 on their website with a release date of February, so it should be available on their network by next week at the latest, and the device will be available on a number of their contracts.

| Samsung Galaxy S4 Launch Event Set For March 14th (Rumor) Posted: 19 Feb 2013 12:39 AM PST It would appear that we have some more details on the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date, we had previously heard that the Samsung Galaxy S4 would be unveiled at a press event in Moscow on the 15th of March, but now according to a new rumor for Eldar Murtzain, Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S4 on the 14th of March at a press event in New York. It is possible that Samsung has two event planned for the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch, one in New York on the 14th of the US version of the handset and one in Moscow on the 15th for the European version of the device, which would tie in with the rumors we have been hearing about one Galaxy S4 with an 8 core processor and one with a quad core processor.

The company does have a vested interest in the platform, as it’s the backbone of its engine business, but they make a compelling case when it comes to sheer power. However, whether a $2000 fully kitted out PC rig makes sense for anything but the enthusiast market as opposed to Microsoft or Sony’s upcoming hardware is a different discussion altogether.
