| Sony Xperia Z Release Date Is February 21st Posted: 15 Feb 2013 05:34 AM PST It looks like we have some official word from Sony on the launch of their new flagship Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia release date for the device in Germany has been announced on Sony’s Facebook page as the 21st of February. We presume February the 21st will be the same date for the rest of Europe as well, the device recently went up for pre-order with various mobile carriers in the UK.

| Mark Zuckerberg Now Owns A Third Of Facebook Posted: 15 Feb 2013 05:22 AM PST Whilst many CEO sell off stock after an IPO, that is not the case for Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, who had 500 million shares in Facebook when it debuted on the stock market last year, he now has 632.65 million Facebook shares or around 30 percent of the company. When the IPO launched last year Zuckerberg announced that he would not sell off any of his 500 million shares, but a recent filing with US regulators has revealed that Zuckerberg has been buying stock over the last year.

| Samsung Galaxy S4 For Verizon Gets Benchmarked (Rumor) Posted: 15 Feb 2013 03:52 AM PST The Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to be announced on the 15th of March at a Samsung unpacked event in Moscow, we are expecting the Samsung Galaxy S4 to launch in Europe between the 15th and 22nd of March and in the US in late May or early June. Earlier in the week we saw some benchmarks for a Samsung Galaxy S4 device, which we believe may be the Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini, and now benchmarks have appeared for another Samsung Galaxy S4 variant which could possibly the Verizon version of the handset.

The Sony Xperia ZL will be available with carriers ell, Mobilicity, MTS, Rogers, Videotron and WIND Mobile, Sony have not give a specific launch date in April when the device will be available.

| iOS 6.1 Passcode Bug Fix In The Works By Apple Posted: 15 Feb 2013 02:50 AM PST Yesterday we heard about the iOS 6.1 passcode bug, which allowed anyone to have access to your iPhone without the need for a passcode, the bug would give access after a certain sequence of steps were performed on a locked iPhone. Now it would appear that Apple has acknowledged the iOS 6.1 passcode bug and they have now confirmed that a fix for the passcode bug will be released in a software update.

| Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Factory Images Released By Google Posted: 15 Feb 2013 02:37 AM PST Earlier in the week Google started rolling out their Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update to a number of devices, the first devices to get the update were the GSM Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 10, the Google Nexus 4 also got the update yesterday. Now Google has released the Android 4.2.2 factory images for various devices which include the Google Nexus 4, the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and the GSM version of the Galaxy Nexus.

| HTC M7 Headed To AT&T, T-Mobile And Sprint For $199.99 (HTC One) Posted: 15 Feb 2013 02:27 AM PST The HTC M7 or HTC One will be officially announced next Tuesday the 19th of February, HTC are holding their Mobile World Press Conference a week early and they have been teasing the handset over the last week. Now it would appear that the HTC M7 will be headed to three US mobile carriers, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, the device will probably also be headed to Verizon in the future although under a different name.

| BBC iPlayer For Android Updated Posted: 15 Feb 2013 12:14 AM PST The BBC have updated their BBC iPlayer application on Google’s Android platform, the latest version of the app comes with a range of new features as well as some bug fixes and it will work with Android devices running Android 2.2 and above. They also said in the release notes that the team behind the application are working to bring the downloads feature that is missing from the Android version to the app, although they did not give any details on when it would be available.

| HTC M7 Release Date For US Rumored As 22nd Of March (HTC One) Posted: 15 Feb 2013 12:05 AM PST HTC is expected to announce the new HTC M7 at their mobile world congress press event next Tuesday the 19th of February, they have been teasing the device recently and earlier we saw the teaser for the new HTC M7 or HTC One Camera. Now according to a recent report the HTC M7 release date for the US will be the 22nd of March, this date is expected to be the same for Europe as well, the photos below show the black and white versions of the handset.

| Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch Altius Screenshots Leaked Posted: 14 Feb 2013 11:55 PM PST As well as launching the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung is also rumored to be launching a third Galaxy device, the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch or Altius. Now it would appear that we have some screenshots of the Samsung Galaxy Altius OS, the following photos were posted to a Korean website, we have no idea if these are actually from Samsung they could quite possibly be fake.

| HTC M7 (HTC One ) Camera Teased In Official Photo Posted: 14 Feb 2013 11:38 PM PST Yesterday HTC teased their new HTC M7 or HTC One smartphone with a photo and now it looks like HTC are teasing the HTC M7 Camera with a new photo which they have posted on their Facebook page. The photo posted to Facebook comes with the date of 19th of February 2013, which is next Tuesday and the date for HTC’s Mobile World Congress press conference, have a look at the photo below.
