| HTC M7 To Launch With Sprint, AT&T And Verizon (Rumor) Posted: 23 Jan 2013 06:47 AM PST One of the new Android devices that we are expecting to see at Mobile World Congress next month is the new flagship smartphone from HTC, the HTC M7, and now it would appear that the device is headed to at least three of the four major mobile carriers in the US. According to @evleaks, the HTC M7 will be headed to Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T, although it is not clear as yet whether the device will also be headed to T-Mobile.

| Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi Android Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out In Europe Posted: 23 Jan 2013 06:27 AM PST Samsung recently started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for their Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi in the US, and now it would appear they have also started rolling out the update in Europe. The update is currently being rolled out to the Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi in Germany, it looks like it is just Germany at the moment, but we suspect it will land in other European countries shortly.

| Nexus 4 Back In Stock At T-Mobile Posted: 23 Jan 2013 06:10 AM PST Google’s Nexus 4 smartphone has been in short supply since the handset launched last year, it is still sold out at Google’s Play Store, but now it looks like the device is back in stock with US mobile carrier T-Mobile. Google are selling the Nexus 4 SIM free from Google Play for $349 , but the device is not in stock and hasn’t been for some time, T-Mobile now have the device in stock and it will retail for $199.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier.

| BlackBerry X10 To Launch 30th of January Posted: 23 Jan 2013 05:19 AM PST RIM’s BlackBerry 10 OS officially launches on the 30th of January, we are expecting to see two new BlackBerry 10 devices at the same time, the BlackBerry Z10 which is a full touchscreen smartphone and a QWERTY BlackBerry 10 handset. We have seen a couple of photos of the BlackBerry X10, which was previously though to be launching later in the year, although it would now appear that this device will launch on the 30th of January along with the Z10.

| Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out In Europe Posted: 23 Jan 2013 04:06 AM PST It looks like Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the international Galaxy S II in Europe, and Spain is the first country to get the update with an OTA update being rolled out today. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is being rolled out as an OTA update and will also be available through Samsung’s Kies software updating tool, it is being rolled out in stages.

| 4G Spectrum Auction Kicks Off In The UK Posted: 23 Jan 2013 03:20 AM PST At the moment we only have one mobile provider that is offering 4G LTE in the UK, EE which is a joint venture between Orange and T-Mobile, although that will change this year as other mobile providers are going to be rolling out 4G services. Ofcom has announced that it has opened the bidding for the mobile spectrum here in the UK, and there are a total of seven companies bidding for 28 lots of two LTE bands.

The BlackBerry Z10 will come with a 4.2 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, it will also come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, plus a 1,800 mAh battery.

| Intel To Stop Making Desktop Motherboards In Three Years Posted: 23 Jan 2013 02:31 AM PST Intel has announced that it will wind down its desktop motherboard business over the next three years, and the company will stop making desktop motherboards for PCs at the end of the three years. This is not of course the end of Intel based desktop motherboards as Intel will continue to supply 3rd party manufacturers, like Gigabyte, ASUS, ASRock and more, it just won’t make any motherboards itself after the three years.

The guys over at TechnoBuffalo have obtained some information on Samsung’s 2013 roadmap, and device details in the roadmap include the Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy X Cover 2 and more.

| Posted: 23 Jan 2013 01:37 AM PST LG launched the Escape 4G LTE with US mobile carrier AT&T last year, and now it looks like a version of the handset is headed to Verizon Wireless, as the LG VS870 which has recently turned up at the FCC. The LG VS870 has appeared at the FCC with support for Verizon’s LTE and CDMA networks and it would appear that the Verizon version of the handset will come wit QI wireless charging.

| Google Earnings Hit $50 Billion In 2012 Posted: 23 Jan 2013 01:23 AM PST Google has announced its latest financial results for the fourth quarter of 2012, Google’s earnings were $14.42 billion for the final quarter, a jump of some 36 percent compared to the same quarter in 2011. Google also revealed their total earnings for last year, which hit a massive $50 billion, and out of the $14.42 billion for the fourth quarter, $2.89 billion was their quarterly net income.

| Google Nexus Supply Being Improved According To Larry Page Posted: 23 Jan 2013 01:06 AM PST Google’s Nexus 4 smartphone is one of the most popular handset at the moment, there is just one problem, the supply of the Nexus 4 is unable to meet demand, with apparently demand outstripping supply at a rate of 10 to 1. LG has been trying to shift the blame over the last week onto Google by saying that Google had not anticipated such high demand for the Google Nexus 4, and now Google’s Larry Page has announced that Google are working to improve the supply of the Nexus 4.
