| Samsung Shows Off 110 Inch 4K TV At CES Posted: 10 Jan 2013 06:39 AM PST Samsung has demoed a new TV at CES, and this one is slightly larger than the 84 inch one we saw earlier in the week, with a display measuring a massive 110 inches and it comes with a 4K resolution. This new 110 inch TV from Samsung is still a prototype, so don’t expect to see it in stores anytime soon, and it doesn’t come with Samsung’s Smart TV features.

Anyone who has purchased a CD on Amazon over the last 15 years will be able to get a digital download of their album, and the music you have purchased will automatically appear in Amazon’s Cloud Player.

| Nokia Sells 4.4 Million Lumia Windows Phone Handsets In Quarter 4 2012 Posted: 10 Jan 2013 05:48 AM PST It would appear that things could be looking up for Nokia, and the Lumia range of Windows Phone smartphones, as the company has released some details on how many Lumia devices they sold in quarter 4 of 2012. Nokia managed to sell a total of 4.4 million Nokia Lumia Windows Phone devices in the last quarter of 2012, and they sold a total of 15.9 million smartphones, which includes the 4.4 million Lumia handsets, 2.2 million Symbian devices and 9.3 million Asha devices.

| Samsung Shows Of Youm Flexible Display At CES 2013 Posted: 10 Jan 2013 03:23 AM PST We have previously seen Samsung’s flexible smartphone display, which is called Youm, and now the company has show it off again at this years CES, although this time the Youm display was showing off in a working prototype device. Samsung are expected to put their new Youm flexible displays into production some time this year, as yet we do not know whether we will see the display in any of Samsung’s or other manufactures devices this year.

| RIM To Launch Six BlackBerry 10 Devices In 2013 Posted: 10 Jan 2013 03:14 AM PST We know that RIM will have two new BlackBerry 10 smartphones at the official launch of the BlackBerry 10 OS on the 30th of January, the BlackBerry Z10 and another BlackBerry Curve style device. Now we have some more information on RIM’s BlackBerry 10 plans for the rest of the year, the company plans to launch at least six new BlackBerry 10 powered devices before the end of 2013.

| Cellular iPad Mini Headed To China Later This Month Posted: 10 Jan 2013 02:34 AM PST Apple launched their new iPad Mini in China last month, and now Apple’s CEO Tim Cook recently announced on a visit to China that the cellular version of the iPad Mini would be available in China later this month. Apple obviously has big plans for China, as the Apple CEO has said that he thinks China will eventually become Apple’s largest market and he said that Apple could have more than 25 retail stores in China.

| MIT Researcher Creates Ice Cubes To Track Alcohol Intake (video) Posted: 10 Jan 2013 02:12 AM PST After experiencing a alcohol-induced blackout after three drinks, MIT Media Labs researcher Dhairya Dand has created a unique way of measuring his alcohol intake using new ice cubes he has created. Electronics encased inside the glowing ice cubes keep a track of the alcohol you have consumed, changing their colour as the alcohol levels rise, and can even sending a text message to a person of your choice when levels reach a critical limit. | Pantech Perception For Verizon Leaked Posted: 10 Jan 2013 12:53 AM PST It looks like Pantech has a new Android smartphone headed to Verizon Wireless, the Pantech Perception, and the device will come with 4G LTE and a 4.8 inch HD Display. Processing will be provided by a quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 1GB of RAM, unfortunately those are the only specifications we have on the device at the moment.

| ZTE To Launch Mozilla Phone In Europe Posted: 10 Jan 2013 12:36 AM PST ZTE is working on a new smartphone that will use Mozilla’s Firefox OS, and they intend to launch the device in Europe some time this year, according to details revealed by ZTE’s CEO Cheng Lixin. ZTE are apparently in talks with a number of European mobile carriers to launch the Mozilla Firefox OS powered smartphone, and it looks like the device may also be headed to the US.
