AT&T May Face FCC Complaint Over FaceTime Blocking Over 3G

Apple’s iPhone 5 and iOS 6 will bring the ability to use FaceTime over the mobile carriers connections, and AT&T previously announced that FaceTime over 3G would only be available to certain customers who are on one of their newer shared data plans.

Now it would appear that AT&T are about to face an FCC complaint as Free Press, Public Knowledge and the New America Foundation’s Open Technology Institute have told AT&T that they intend to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission in the US.

iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards For AT&T Appear Online

Apple’s new iPhone 5 will use their new Nano SIM cards, last week we saw a few photos of the Nano SIM cards for some of the European carriers and now a photo has appeared online of the new Nano SIM card for the US mobile carrier AT&T.

The new Nano SIM card is around 40 percent smaller than the previous microSIM card, and this has allowed Apple to make the iPhone 5 slimmer than the iPhone 4S.

Beats latest Bluetooth speaker has arrived at the FCC this week, indicating that the new compact speaker could be arriving in stores in the next few weeks.

The new Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker is equipped with four drivers and a curved shape, perfect for its name. However full specifications of the Beats Pill speaker are still a little short on the ground and its not known whether the speaker can be used as a speaker phone when making calls with smartphones, as yet.

Apple’s Sir Jonathan Ive To Design Limited Edition Leica M

As well as unveiling their new Leica M rangefinder at Photokina 2012 this week, company owner Dr. Andreas Kaufmann also revealed that Apple’s Sir Jonathan Ive, will be assisting Leica to design a limited edition one-of-a-kind Leica M camera.

Only one new Leica M, Sir Jonathan Ive camera will be created and will be auctioned off for charity. With a standard Leica M available to purchase for around $7,000 it will be interesting to see how much Apple fans will pay for a Jony Ive Leica M special.

Motorola RAZR i UK SIM Free Pricing Revealed

Earlier today Motorola unveiled their first Intel powered Android smartphone, the Motorola RAZR i, and we just received some pricing details for the SIM free version of the handset in the UK.

Motorola has today announced their first Intel powered smartphone, the Motorola RAZR i, which is powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom processor and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Dropbox iOS App Receives AirPrint Support And Facebook, Twitter Sharing

iPhone 5 Expected To Sell 8 Million Units In First Weekend

Apple announced yesterday that they had sold a massive 2 million iPhone 5 pre-orders in the first 24 hours of the handset going up for sale, and now according to Gene Munster from Piper Jaffray, Apple are expected to sell a massive 8 million iPhone 5′s in their first weekend.

Last year Apple announced that they had sold over 1 million iPhone 4S units in the first 24 hours, and after the first weekend of sales they announced a total of 4 million units sold.

Today Canon has taken the wraps off its new social image management platform currently code named “Project 1709″. Canon Project 1709 is currently in its beta stage of development and has been designed to allow users to store and access images in cloud storage.

Providing users with data a details about the images however they may have been taken, with EXIF data, dates, geo-tagged locations and device information available to view.

HTC One X5 5 Inch Smartphone Leaked

HTC is holding a press conference tomorrow where they will be unveiling their latest smartphones, and we have already heard that HTC will be unveiling a new 5 inch smartphone to take on Samsung’s Galaxy Note.

Now we have a photo of this new 5 inch smartphone, which looks like it is an official press shot of the device, and it will be called the HTC One X5, as you can see in the photo below.

Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray Trailer Reveals Release Date

Batman fans looking forward to the arrival of the latest movie Dark Knight Rises onto Blu-ray will be pleased to learn that a new trailer has been released this week. Which reveals that the Blu-ray version will be arriving in stores on December 3rd 2012.

Dark Knight Rises took over a $1 billion at the box office, and was Christopher Nolan’s third Batman movie, in the series. Warner Brothers published the Blu-ray trailer on YouTube saying “Own it on Blu-ray Combo Pack or Digital Download 12/3″

Office 2013 Pricing And 365 Subscriptions Announced By Microsoft

Microsoft has today revealed prices for their new Office 2013 and Office 365 software suites, however an official launch date has still yet to be announced.

Microsoft’s Office 365 Home Premium will cost users $99 per year, providing them with 20GB of SkyDrive storage, together with 60 minutes of Skype calls per month. With access to your documents being available from unto five computers.

Google+ Hits 100 Million Monthly Active Users

Google’s Vic Gundorta has announced that Google’s social network, Google+ has hit a new milestone, Google+ now has more than 100 million active monthly users.

The 100 million monthly active users on Google+ is made up of users of the Google+ website and also Google’s mobile apps, and it took Google just over a year to reach the 100 million users milestone.

Asus Windows 8 Tablets Pricing Revealed, Starting At $599

LG Optimus G With Quad Core Krait Processor Gets Official

LG has announced their latest Android smartphone, the LG Optimus G which comes with a quad core 1.5GHz Krait Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and 2GB of RAM.
