Torchlight 2 releasing September 20

Runic Games has announced a release date for Torchlight 2, their dungeon crawler sequel. The game will finally launch on September 20. It looks like Runic has taken feedback from beta testers very seriously and made some good changes to the Torchlight 2 experience.

You CAN opt-out of ads on the Kindle Fire tablets

So people really voiced their concerns and Amazon has switched gears and now it is being reported that customers can opt-out of ads on the Kindle Fire tablet. But it will cost you $15 to do so.

Sony Xperia Tablet S gets the full teardown

The Xperia Tablet S is still pretty new, at least for those in the UK, but Sony has already beaten the iFixit crowd to a full tear down. I guess they really wanted to be first. One of the company’s own engineers, Takuya Inaba, is the one responsible for taking a knife to the tablet.

Enterprise-D restoration fundraiser goes live

We told you a few weeks ago about some fans and their mission to save the set of the Enterprise D and now the fundraising for the project is live. They are now actively raising cash on Indiegogo with a estimated $240,000 target needed to make this project become a reality.
