According to the guys over at AnandTech, the Apple A6 processor in the new iPhone 5 is actually a new processor which Apple has created themselves, and it is not based on a vanilla A9 or A15 design from ARM, but an Apple developed ARMv7 processor. iPhone 5 Orders Start Shipping Posted: 16 Sep 2012 11:24 PM PDT Apple’s iPhone 5 went up for pre-order last Friday the 14th of September, and will go on sale this Friday the 21st of September, and now it would appear that some of the first iPhone 5 orders have started shipping. According to the guys over at MacRumors, a number of their readers have started shipping from China, although this does not mean they will get their iPhone 5 before Friday, as Apple usually makes the delivery companies hold them until release day.
