Sceptre Unveils 32-inch LED 3D TV

Sceptre has unveiled a new HDTV that is 32-inches in size and a uses LED backlighting and supports 3D content. A nice sized 3D TV that won’t break the bank might be just what some gamers have been looking for. The set will sell for $599.00 and will be in Walmart and Target locations as well as online stores.

Nuance Dragon Express Speech To Text Mac App

Nuance has today launched their new Dragon Express speech-to-text application in the Mac App store. Dragon Express has been design as an easy to use and fun speech recognition utility that introduces OS X Lion users to voice recognition, putting your words to work without the hassle of typing.

The new Dragon Express Mac App will works with all your favourite applications says Nuance including Mail, Facebook and Twitter to name a few, and the app can can be used with the internal microphone of your Mac, but Nuance does recommended using a USB headset.

Amazon Increases Kindle Fire Orders From Suppliers

A couple of week ago we heard a rumor that Amazon was ordering more of their Kindle Fire tablets from their suppliers, the rumor has now surfaced again, and it would appear Amazon is trying to meet demand for the companies first Android tablet.

The Amazon Kindle Fire will go on sale in the US next week and it will retail for $199, and it is expected to end up being the most popular Android tablet of the year, and could end up being the most popular Android tablet to date.

Google Closes Android App Inventor Service

As with a number of its other services Google has now announced the closure of its Android App Inventor. A tool that was created by Google to enable anyone to be able to create Android apps with no programming skills.

Unfortunately Google has now notified all its users via email that the service will now be closing on December 31st and all user data will be deleted from Google’s Servers. So if you have projects that you would like to keep login to your App Inventor account and hit the “Download all projects” button to receive a handy zip file. with all your projects.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Gets PlayStation Certified In Japan

$79 Amazon Kindle Costs Amazon $84 To Manufacture?

Amazon announced their new $79 Kindle, which will launch next week along with the new Kindle Fire and Kindle Touch, the device is supported by adverts in the US and Amazon will be selling it for $79.

Now according to a recent report by iSuppli, the new Kindle actually costs Amazon $84.25 to make, which would mean that Amazon is losing $5.25 on the sale of each device.

Infinity Blade II Gets Previewed

iPhone 4S Features A Siri Friendly Proximity Sensor (Video)

We have already seen the iPhone 4 and other iOS devices running Apple’s Siri, which comes exclusively with the iPhone 4S, and yesterday we heard that Apple has no plans to bring Siri to other iOS devices.

Now it would appear that the guys over at iFixit may have discovered the reason why Siri is only available on the iPhone 4S, as it features a different proximity sensor than other iOS devices.

Angry Birds Coming To PC Retail Within Weeks

It looks like the worlds most popular mobile game, Angry Birds is about to land on the PC in retail stores, according to a recent report Angry Birds for the PC will land in retail stores in the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand within the next few weeks.

The news comes from the guys over at MCV, who have spoken to Rovio Mobile, and have been told that a PC version of Angry Birds will be available in the UK  in retail stores from the 25th of November for around £10.

Google Translate iPhone App Updated, Now Supports 63 Languages

Google has this week rolled out a new update to its Google Translate iOS application which brings with it new alpha languages: Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. Bringing the total number of languages support by the iPhone app to 63. With voice input supported by 17 of those languages, and text-to-speech supported in 24 languages.

Modern Warfare 3 Breaks Launch Day Sales Records With Nearly 10 Million Copies Sold

Google Confirms It Will Support Android Manufacturers In Apple Lawsuits

A number of Android manufacturers, which include companies like HTC and Samsung are in the middle of various patent cases with Apple, and now Google’s Eric Schmidt has once again confirmed that Google will support these companies in the various court cases.

Google recently purchased Motorola Mobility, who own a large number of patents relating to mobile phones, and one of Google’s main reasons for the acquisition was to get hold of the companies patent portfolio.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Accessories Appear At Verizon Stores

Google Adds New +1 Button For Images (video)

Google has today announced the roll out of its new Google +1 button to all image searches which will allow you to share images with your friends via Google+ and your Google Profile, in the same way you can with the traditional search results from Google.

Android And iOS Grabs 58 Percent Of US Portable Gaming Revenue

Nintendo and Sony will be less than pleased with the latest portable gaming figures from Flurry, as they are reporting that mobile gaming, particularly Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android devices now makes up 58 percent of mobile gaming revenue in the US for 2011.

This compares to 2009 when Nintendo held 70 percent of the portable gaming market and Sony’s PSP around 11 percent, back then Android and iOS made up just 19 percent of the market.

Swivl Motion Tracking Smartphone Camera Dock (video)

Amazon Looks To Take On Apple’s Siri With Yap

It looks like Amazon may be looking to take on Apple’s Siri, with its own voice recognition system, as according to a recent report Amazon has recently acquired a speech recognition startup called Yap.

Amazon and Yap have yet to confirm the deal, but the Atlantic has discovered that Yap has recently merged with a company called ‘Dion Acquisition Sub’, who has their address listed as an Amazon owned building in Seattle.

HTC Titan Lands On AT&T 20th November For $199

AT&T recently launched a couple of Windows Phone devices on their network, and the latest one, the HTC Titan will be available from AT&T on the 20th of November for $199, when you sign up to a new two year contract.

The HTC Titan comes with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, and it features a 4.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, processing is provided by  a single core 1.5Ghz processor and it comes with 512MB of RAM.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Coming In December For $499

Yesterday Asus officially announced the new Eee Pad Transformer Prime, and we now have some more details on the new Transformer tablet, it will go on sale in early December for $499.

There will be two models available a 32GB Eee Pad Transformer Prime with will retail for $499, and a 64GB Transformer Prime which will retail for $599, there is also the keyboard dock accessory which will cost $149.

RIM’s BlackBerry Services Have Problems Again

It looks like RIM’s BlackBerry services had more problems yesterday with a number of users reporting problems with the service, and according to RIM the problem affected a number of users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.

The problem started yesterday, and it would appear it lasted for a few hours, and RIM has confirmed that things are back to normal, although they havesaid it was not an outage and the problem only affected a small number of users.

Hidden Autocorrect Keyboard Bar Found In iOS 5

It looks like another new feature has been found in iOS 5, the other day we heard about the hidden panorama mode for the camera that was discovered in iOS 5, and now Sonny Dickson has discovered a new feature.

As you can see from the photo below, Sonny discovered an Android style autocorrect keyboard bar, and you can choose from a series of words to correct the word you are typing.

Apple Offers Settlement to Defective MagSafe Cable Owners
