European Commission To Investigate Samsung’s 3G Patent Case Against Apple Posted: 04 Nov 2011 04:37 AM PDT Samsung is trying to get the iPhone 4S banned in Australia, the company is accusing Apple of violating some of its 3G patents, which Apple holds licenses for, but Samsung says they licenses don’t apply in Australia. Now it would appear that the European Commission is interested in Samsung’s case against Apple, and the case could possibly land Samsung in trouble with the EU, as they are investigation whether the case against Apple violates EU competition laws. RED Scarlet 4K Camera Launched Posted: 04 Nov 2011 04:32 AM PDT On the same day that Canon has unveiled it new cinema camera the C300 Red has also launched their new Scarlet which now records in full 4k resolution. Providing 4096 × 2160 pixels resolution for video, and an impressive 5120 × 2700 for still images, together with a max frame rate of 120 fps. The new Red Scarlet records in Redcode RAW format and, and is capable of shooting at 1K at 120fps which beats the new Canon C300 which is only able to output to 1080p even with its 4k sensor. This is the first time that Android Gingerbread has bee higher than Android 2.2 Froyo, which was on 45.3 percent of Android devices last month and has now dropped to 40.7 percent. Free Wi-fi is already now available at Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Prospect Park Picnic House and Manhattan’s Marcus Garvey Park. Together with Marcus Garvey Park in Manhattan in preparation for this years marathon on Sunday. Early Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayers Will Not Be Banned Says Microsoft Posted: 04 Nov 2011 02:51 AM PDT Luckily for some Modern Warfare 3 fans they were able to pick up the game from Kmart stores in Miami and New York even before it’s been officially released. If you are one of those lucky few there is no need to worry if you fancy giving the multiplayer side a go before the official launch. As Microsoft has explained no bans will enforced on legitimate copies purchased even if it was before the official launch date. Some shipments of Modern Warfare 3 arrived at Kmart stores in the cities with instructions to sell the copies immediately, its not been discovered whether this was intentional or a mistake on Kmart’s part, but the chain has now stopped selling MW3 copies. Amazon To Launch 8.9 Inch Kindle Fire Next Year? The HTC Rezound features a 4.3 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1.5GHz processor and there is 1GB of RAM, plus Android Gingerbread, although Verizon has said it will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update early next year.
