German Lab Creates Silicone Super Tape

Posted: 07 Nov 2011 10:00 PM PST

It’s allegedly so tough and adhesive it can be used thousands of times. The sad part is the unnamed and unbranded tape remains a lab-developed oddity, still quite far from making it to a nearby office supplies store. But the possibilities! Oh the possibilities! The inspiration for this so-called ‘bioadhesive’ tape that was developed in the University of Kiel came from the lizard kind. Posted: 07 Nov 2011 04:07 PM PST

Sorry for the bad news on the BIG day (oh yeah!) but reports have just surfaced that some 10,000 Modern Warfare 3 discs were stolen in France. The perpetrators are still unknown, but the scale of the crime is so alarming and was executed with such precision that Activision has another major headache coming. Turns out on Saturday two delivery vans were jacked in two separate locations. The perpetrators then looted their contents, making off with a good number of MW3 discs. Anybody smell a big screen adaptation?

There is, however, a generous amount of unidentified person sailing through the air. And smoke. Lots of smoke. Apparently that whole mysterious teaser image thing worked so well for Bioware when they announced Mass Effect at the VGAs last year that they are reprising the same strategy to draw attention to their newest endeavour.
