| Rogue Employee Uses Gaming Network For Bitcoin Mining Posted: 02 May 2013 07:33 AM PDT The ESEA gaming network has announced that one of their employees has used their network for Bitcoin mining without their knowledge. ESEA distributes anti cheat software for Counter Strike, that allows players to obtain on their games and cuts down on cheating. The company has around 14,000 players who use their software, and last month they started testing out a Bitcoin mining system for their network, but in the end decided not to go ahead with their plan.

| HTC Extends Trade In Program On HTC One Posted: 02 May 2013 04:08 AM PDT When HTC announced the HTC One, they also announced a new trade in program that would let you trade in your old handset and get $100 off the purchase price of the HTC One. The HTC One trade in program has now been extended, to qualify you will have to buy a HTC One by the 19th of May and then mail your old handset off to HTC by the 19th of June.

| Samsung Galaxy S4 Bootloader Unlocked Posted: 02 May 2013 04:00 AM PDT Earlier in the week we heard that the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 came with a locked bootloader, and now it looks like Dan Rosenberg has managed to unlock the bootloader on the S4. Although it doesn’t look like anything will be released for a while, as Dan Rosenberg posted on the XDA developers forum that nothing will be released until the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 is launched, this will launch near the end of this month.

The devices that were spotted with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean include the Galaxy nexus, the Google Nexus 4, the Google Nexus 10 and the Google Nexus 7, and there were a number of versions of Android 4.3 spotted including 4.3.1 and 4.3.3.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also rumored to come with a 5.99 full HD Super AMOLED display, and 3GB of RAM, plus a 13 megapixel camera and it looks like the device could also come with the yet to be announced Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

| Android Jelly Bean Now On 28 Percent Of Devices Posted: 02 May 2013 01:15 AM PDT Google has released its latest Android distribution figures, and for the first time Android Jelly Bean is now on more devices than Android Ice Cream Sandwich, with a total of 28.4 percent of all Android devices running Jelly Bean. Android Ice Cream Sandwich is on a total of 27.5 percent of devices, and Android Honeycomb is on just 0.1 percent of devices, still in the top spot is Android Gingerbread with a 38.5 percent distribution.
