| Over 300 Million Smart Devices Shipped In Q1 Posted: 10 May 2013 01:55 AM PDT According to a recent report by reserved firm Canalys, there we over 300 million smart devices shipped in the first quarter of 2013, which is apparently up 37.4 percent for the same quarter in 2012. Canalys also revealed some details on the percentage share of those 300 million devices by operating system, and according to the report 59.5 percent of those 300 million devices used Google’s Android OS.

| Apple Wins iBooks Trademark Case Posted: 10 May 2013 01:32 AM PDT Back in 2011 Black Tower Press files a lawsuit against Apple over the use of the iBooks trademark, the company claimed that the Apple were infringing on their iBooks name that they acquired back in 2006. Black Tower acquired the iBooks name from another publishing company in 2006, although Black Tower were using the iBooks name, neither Black Tower or the previous company actually owned the iBooks Trademark as this has not been filed.

The Olympus PEN E-P5 features a mirrorless interchangeable lens system with a 1/8000 sec. high speed shutter, and a 16 megapixel Live Mos sensor from the OM-D E-M5, it also features built in WiFi.

The first incursions by microtransactions into AAA games have already been made with the advent of Dead Space 3′s crafting system and Forza Horizon’s cars. However, since those are $60 games, it would be nice for prices to match.
