| Nokia EOS To Launch In July (Rumor) Posted: 23 May 2013 05:42 AM PDT We have been hearing quite a bit about the Nokia EOS over the last few weeks, the handset is rumored to be Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone that will use the 41 megapixel camera sensor that launched with the Nokia 808 PureView. Now according to a recent report, Nokia will officially launch the Nokia EOS in July, of course this date has yet to be confirmed by Nokia, who have yet to confirm the handsets existence.

The Nokia Lumia 521 is now available to buy direct from T-Mobile from their retail stores and also their online store, the handset is available on the company’s Uncarrier plans, and will cost you $29 up front with equal monthly payments for the balance made over the next 24 months, if you go for the T-Mobile Simple Choice Plans the monthly payments will be $5 per month.

| Square Expands Mobile Payments Outisde Of US To Japan Posted: 23 May 2013 03:30 AM PDT Square has announced that they are expanding their mobile payments service outside of the US, and the first country where Square will be available in will be Japan, and they have partnered with SMCC, the company who introduced Visa to Japan. Business’s in Japan will be able to take payments using the Square system, and they will be charged a feed of 3.25 percent per transaction, although square will have quite a bit of competition in japan from established players like KDDI and JTT DoCoMo who already offer similar systems.

| Kim DotCom Says Google, Twitter, Facebook Infringes On His Two Step Security Patent Posted: 23 May 2013 12:57 AM PDT Kim DotCom has accused a number of tech giants, which include Google, Facebook and Twitter of infringing on a patent for two step verification for security, although the Megaupload and Mega founder has said that he doesn’t intend to sue the companies. It would appear that Kim DotCom filed a patent back in 1997 for a two step verification system, and according to a number of reports this patent actually covers the two step verification system being used by Google, Facebook, Twitter and more companies.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched on the 27th of April, and Samsung managed to sell 10 million handsets in less than a month, the device has been so popular that 4 Galaxy S4 devices are sold every second.

| Samsung Redwood GT-I8805 Tizen OS Smartphone Confirmed By UAProf Posted: 23 May 2013 12:12 AM PDT We know that Samsung are working on a new smartphone with their Tizen OS, and now it would appear that we have some details on the handset, as a new device running Tizen has been spotted in the UAProf of Samsung’s website, the Samsung Redwood GT-I8805. The Samsung Redwood GT-I8805 will apparently come with a Cortex A9 based processor and will feature a HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device will apparently also come with 4G LTE.

| Unlocked White BlackBerry Q10 Now Available In The UK Posted: 22 May 2013 11:58 PM PDT The unlocked version of the BlackBerry Q10 has been available in the UK for a while now, and not the white BlackBerry Q10 is available from UK retailer Clover, the handset is SIM free and costs £534.99 including taxes. The BlackBerry features a physical QWERTY keyboard, the device will also come with a dual core 1.5GHz processor, and 2GB of RAM and a 3.1 inch AMOLED display with a 720 x 720 pixel resolution.
