| New Nexus 7 Tablet Leaked In Official Google Video Posted: 16 May 2013 06:19 AM PDT We have been hearing rumors for a while that Google may be working on a new Nexus 7 tablet, and now it would appear that the device has been spotted in an official Google video for Google Hangouts. The new Nexus 7 tablet was spotted by Cesi D’Alessio, and it appears at around the 21 second mark in the video, this version of the tablet has a notification LED lighting up at the 21 seconds mark, this is something that the existing Nexus 7 tablet does not have.

The BlackBerry Q5 features a 3.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels, plus a full QWERTY keyboard and it comes with the latest version of BlackBerry’s mobile OS BlackBerry 10.1.

| LG’s Google TVs To Get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update Posted: 16 May 2013 05:52 AM PDT Yesterday Google announced that they would be updating their Google TV platform to Android 4.2.2, they also announced that they would make it much easier for manufacturers to update their Google TV devices to the latest version of Android. Now LG has announced that it will be bringing the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to its Google TV devices, and LG has said that the updates will be rolled out as an over the air update to their existing LG Google TVs in the third quarter.

| Samsung Galaxy Note 3 To Feature Similar Design To S4 Posted: 16 May 2013 04:09 AM PDT We have been hearing a number of rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 over the last few months, one of those was that the handset would feature a new design with a metal casing, although according to the guys over at Sammobile the Galaxy Note 3 will feature a similar plastic casing to the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will apparently feature a full HD 6 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, this ties in with what we heard previously about the device feature a 5.99 inch Super AMOLED Display.

The 16GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 only actually comes with around 8GB of useable storage, the rest of the storage is used by the OS and also by pre-installed applications.

| Google Tells Microsoft To Remove YouTube App From Windows Phone Posted: 16 May 2013 03:42 AM PDT Google has sent Microsoft a letter asking them to remove the YouTube app from the Windows Phone Store, the news comes from Wired which has received a copy of a ‘cease and desist’ letter that Google has sent to Microsoft. The Windows Phone YouTube app was developed by Microsoft and not Google, and the app removes the adverts from YouTube and also allows form videos to be downloaded.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is rumored to come with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, processing on the S4 Mini will apparently be provided by a dual core Samsung Exynos 5210 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz.

| Apple App Store Hits 50 Billion Downloads Posted: 16 May 2013 02:21 AM PDT The Apple App store has reached a massive 50 billion downloads, and the person who downloaded the 50 billionth app, who has yet to be announced will win a $10,00 gift card for the iTunes app store. It took Apple year years and 8 months to reach 25 billion downloads, it then took another 14 and a half months to reach the 50 billion app download mark, which means that apps are now being downloaded at a rate of 20 million per year.

| Google Android Hits 900 Million Device Activations (Video) Posted: 16 May 2013 01:27 AM PDT Google has announced at Google I/O 2013 that Google Android has now hit 900 million device activations, and the company is on track to reach 1 billion Android activations by the end of the year. Back in March Google Announced that they had activated a total of 750 million Android devices, so that is another 150 million Android devices in the last two months, they should hit 1 billion Android activations some time in June or July.
