Mysterious Lego Man Found In Florida Beach

Dell Latitude ST Windows Tablet Announced

Dell has launched another new tablet, although this one is designed for the business market, the Dell Latitude ST, which features a 10 inch display and comes with Windows 7 Professional.

The Dell Latitude ST features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a single core 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 processor and it also comes with 2GB of RAM.

We have featured a number of different cases for the iPad here at Geeky Gadgets, although I think this one is a first, the Double iPad Case, and as the name suggests the case is designed to let you use two iPads at once.

HTC Rhyme Lands On O2 UK

The HTC Rhyme was announced last month, and now it is available here in the UK from mobile operator O2, who are offering the device on a range of their monthly contracts.

The HTC Rhyme features a 3.7 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it will come with Android Gingerbread and HTC's Sense 3.5 user interface.

Nokia Launching A White Nokia N9

The Nokia N9 is one the of the coolest designed smartphones we have seen, and luckily the new Nokia Lumia 800 shares a similar design. Nokia has announced that they will be releasing a white version of the Nokia N9.

BlackBerry Colt To Be RIM’s First BBX Smartphone?

RIM recently announced its new BBX platform, and now we have some details on the first smartphone that will use the BBX platform, according to the guys over at n4bb, the BlackBerry Colt will be the first BBX device.

The BlackBerry Colt will come with a 4 inch display and is also rumored to feature a dual core processor, plus front and rear cameras, and the device is expected to be launched early next year.

Nokia Lumia 800 To Cost £440 In The UK

Yesterday the Nokia Lumia went up for pre-order in the UK, through Nokia’s own website, although it was only available to order if you sign up to a new contract with one of Three mobile providers, Vodafone, Orange and Three.

Now UK mobile retailer Clove has listed a SIM free version of the Nokia Lumia 800 on their website and it will retail for £442.80 including taxes, although Clove haven’t listed a release date for Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone device.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus To Use Fortified Glass

The majority of new smartphones on the market today use Gorilla Glass, and when the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was announced we were expecting it to come with Gorilla Glass, but it would appear that it will use something else instead.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Nexus will us ‘Fortified Glass’, although Samsung hasn’t released any details about the glass and whether it will be as strong and scratch resistant as the Gorilla Glass.

Adobe Carousel Apps For Mac And iOS Devices Announced

Adobe has launched a new photo app for the Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, called Adobe Carousel and the app will let you store your photos online and you can then access them from your Mac or any of your iOS devices.

The Adobe Carousel app works with Adobe’s online storage, which is a paid service where you can store your photos online, and Adobe will charge $9.99 a month for the service of $99.99 a year.

The Prop Mobile Laptop Stand (Video)

Google Tests Out Google Voice Search Underwater (Video)

Google has been testing out Google Voice Search in Australia, and as well as testing it out in the desert, Google thought it would be a good idea to test it out underwater at the Great Barrier Reef.

Google used a special device for communicating underwater, the device is made up with microphone in the divers mask, which was then connected to some other equipment on a boat where the Android device with Google Voice was located, have a look at the video below.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone Companion App For Xbox In Action (Video)

At yesterday’s Nokia World, Microsoft revealed some more details about the integration between their Windows Phone and the Xbox 360, the video below shows the new Companion app for the Xbox running on a Nokia Lumia 800.

As you can see from the video the app can be used as a remote for the Xbox including navigation of Microsoft’s various video offering and it can also provide additional content on the smartphone.

LG DoublePlay Android Smartphone Lands On T-Mobile

The last thing we heard about the LG DoublePlay was that it was due to go on sale with T-Mobile on the 2nd of November, but now it would appear that the DoublePlay is available from the T-Mobile website.

RIM To Face Class Action Lawsuit After BlackBerry Outage

More bad news for RIM this morning, as BlackBerry users are filing a class action lawsuit against the company after the recent BlackBerry outage, which left BlackBerry users around the world unable to access BBM and other BlackBerry services for almost four days.

The lawsuit has officially been filed in the Quebec Superior Court by the Consumer Law Group, on behalf of BlackBerry users who pay for a monthly data plan that were unable to access their email during the outage.

Apple’s iTunes Match Launch Imminent?

It looks like Apple is getting ready to launch its new iTunes Match music service, which Apple has previously said would launch in November, as Apple has told developers who are using the iTunes Match Beta that it will be reset today, the 27th of October.

Apple’s iTunes Match service will launch in the US next month, and the service will cost you $24.99 per year, and it will basically let you stream all the music you own but don’t have on your iOS device from the cloud.

Sony To Buy Ericsson Out Of Sony Ericsson Partnership For $1.47 Billion

Samsung’s Attempt To Ban iPhone 4S In Italy Denied By Judge

Samsung and Apple are involved in more than twenty different lawsuits around the world, Apple managed to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned in Australia, and Samsung has been trying to get Apple’s new iPhone 4S banned in a number of countries.

One of those countries is Italy, and an Italian judge has denied Samsung’s initial request to have the iPhone 4S banned in Italy, and has scheduled a new hearing for the 16th of December where both Apple and Samsung will have to submit evidence to the court.

Nokia Shows Off Flexible Smartphone Prototype (Video)

Yesterday we got to see the first Windows Phone smartphones from Nokia, the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 710, but not it would appear that Nokia has been showing off something much for interesting at Nokia World 2011, a Flexible smartphone prototype.
