Team Fortress 2 Running In A Web Browser (video) Posted: 11 Oct 2011 02:48 AM PDT Motorola Mobility software developer Brandon Jones has been experimenting with porting games to WebGL and has now released a video showing Team Fortress 2 running within a web browser. The engine and a level from Team Fortress 2 have now been set to run in a browser using WebGL and have clocked up frame rates of around 60fps maxing out at 100fps. Square Drops $1,000 Limits For Its 800,000 Customers Posted: 11 Oct 2011 02:34 AM PDT One year on from the day it launched Square the mobile phone credit card processing service has made a number of announcements today unveiling a few new features and the news that its now passed 800,000 customers and is processing around $2 Billion in payments per year. Square also revealed it will be dropping its $1,000 limit. Previously if a new client processed over $1,000 is transactions anything over the $1,000 limit would then have been kept by Square for a period of time from a few hours to a month, depending on the merchants standing with Square. If you are a merchant of Square you will be pleased to know this limit has now been dropped and is sure to make a welcomed change to small business cash flow. Geekbench iPhone 4S Benchmarks, 68 Percent Faster Than iPhone 4 Posted: 11 Oct 2011 01:51 AM PDT Yesterday we got to see a video of some benchmarks on Apple’s new iPhone 4S, and now the first GeekBench benchmarks for the iPhone 4S have been revealed, which according to the guys over at Mac Rumors there is a significant increase over the iPhone 4. The original iPhone 4 scored a GeekBench score of 370, the new iPhone 4S scored 622, which is slightly lower than that of the iPad 2, which scored 749 and also features the same dual core A5 processor as the new iPhone 4S. The new Image Deblurring feature uses advanced algorithms to calculate the cameras movements that caused the motion blur. Which it then uses to create a deblurring effect on the image reversing the process. With just a couple of clicks a motion blurry photo is transformed into a clear image.
