Vine is now available for Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD tablet, although the tablet only features a front facing camera for video.

We are expecting the specifications on the Verizon HTC One to be the same as the existing handset, which will include a 4.7 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 468 pixels per inch, processing will come in the form of a quad core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and the device also comes with 2GB of RAM.

We are expecting Apple iOS to be announced in September at the same time as the new iPhone 5S. It looks like Apple iOS 7 has already been jailbroken by developer Ryan Petrich who posted a photo online from a jailbroken iPod Touch running Apple iOS 7 Beta.

The European Commission is looking to reduce the cost of taking your smartphone abroad and the first set of cuts have come into force today. Costs of making a call from your mobile whilst abroad in Europe will now be at least 17 percent cheaper than before, costs of receiving a call will now be 12 percent cheaper.

Yes, the pain is usually excruciating at first, but the months of moving around with a cumbersome cast are torture! It's bad enough that you can't move part of your body, but you also can't wash or even itch that part either. Luckily, thanks to 3D printers, there's a better alternative on the horizon. Jake Evill, a graduate from Victoria University of Wellington, has created a new way of making casts using a 3D printer. The design works by creating customized casts for each patient depending on their injury. The cast is made denser around the parts of the bone that are mending while it's left open in other areas that aren't affected quite as bad. It's been that way since Microsoft came out with the Xbox more than a decade ago; however, a new player may come onto the scene to challenge the three for gaming's top spot. Google is apparently working on a gaming system of its own. The system will operate via an Android operating system while supporting all of the newest cross title games too. Most of it has been positive, some has been negative, but there's one major bit of news it all culminates into – 3D printing is getting big! It just got bigger too. Microsoft just announced that Windows 8.1 will come with native support for 3D printing, making it even easier to set it up at home. This won't change anything right away, as no 3D printers currently make use of support, but it will make a huge difference later down the road. 3D printer companies will be able to integrate their printer with Windows much easier than before, and users will simply have to plug the device in for it to work on Windows – just like with most traditional printers that are on the market today. | Paypal Jumps into the Next Generation Posted: 01 Jul 2013 02:27 AM PDT Did you know space tourism is only a year away? I had no clue, but apparently Paypal is already way ahead of all of us. The company will soon start its Galactic initiative alongside the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute and the Space Tourism Society in order to figure out how to commercialize space tourism and transactions in space. Paypal is currently raising money for research to help answer the question of transactions and customer service in space through FundRazr. The company believes that space tourism is going to soar in popularity and frequency in just a few short years, and fully intends to have a system up and running where people can buy goods and services during their trip. BlackBerry shipped a total of 6.8 million smartphones in quarter one, out of these 6.8 million, only 2.7 million of these were their new BlackBerry 10 handsets.

We had previously heard that it would be unveiled at IFA, and now it would appear that we may have a possible Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date. According to a recent report, Samsung will be sending out invites in August for a Samsung Unpacked event that will take place on the 4th of September, a couple of days before IFA Berlin, which kicks off on the 6th of September.
