The $149 replacement is available with or without AppleCare+, which costs $99 up front and then $49 for each repair, so basically it will cost you the same for a new display with or without the AppleCare+.

| HTC One Android 4.2.2 Update Coming In The Next Few Weeks Posted: 04 Jun 2013 05:45 AM PDT It looks like the HTC One Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update will be released for the handset within the next few weeks, the news comes from Andrey Kormiltsev, the head of HTC Russia who announced the news on Twitter. | Asus PQ321 4K Monitor Lands This Month For $4,000 Posted: 04 Jun 2013 05:38 AM PDT Last week we told you about the new 31.5 inch 4K monitor from Asus, the Asus PQ321, and now it looks we have some pricing details on this new ultra HD monitor, Asus have told the Verge that it will launch in the US this month for around $4,000. The Asus PQ321 features a resolution of 3480 x 2160 pixels and 140ppi, it comes with a 16:9 aspect ratio and is an LED backlit monitor with an 8ms GTG response time, 350 cd/m2 brightness, and 176 degree viewing angles, it features a pair of 2w speakers.

| Huawei Ascend W2 Photos Leaked Again Posted: 04 Jun 2013 04:18 AM PDT We have already seen a couple of photos of the new Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Huawei, the Huawei Ascend W2, and now we have a couple more of the device, which appear to be press shots, showing the handset in red and yellow, the photos were posted on Twitter by @evleaks. The Huawei Ascend W2 is rumored to feature a 4.3 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, plus a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and will also feature 1GB of RAM, and a 2,000 mAh battery.

The company’s Jony Ive is heading up the design team for Apple iOS 7, and the OS is expected to get a major new look and feel with a much flatter design, and now we have a photo which is rumored to be of an early build of iOS 7.

| Three New Toshiba Excite Android Tablets Announced Posted: 04 Jun 2013 12:47 AM PDT Toshiba has announced three new Toshiba Excite Android tablets, first up is the Toshiba Excite Pure, which is a $300 Android tablet that comes with a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The Toshiba Excite Pure also comes with 16GB of built in storage plus a microSD card slot, there is no rear facing camera on the Toshiba Excite Pure and it comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
