| LG Optimus G2 To Be Announced August 7th Posted: 21 Jun 2013 12:11 AM PDT We have already seen a couple of leaked photos of the new LG Optimus G2 smartphone, and now it would appear that we may have a date when the handset will be officially announced by LG. LG have sent out press invites for an event in New York on the 7th of August, whilst the company has not said what the event will be for, we suspect it will be for the launch of the Optimus G2.

| Posted: 21 Jun 2013 12:05 AM PDT It would appear that we may have some actual photos of the new Apple iPhone 5s, the photos below were posted over at MacRumors, and show the back of the handset as well as the internals of the iPhone 5S. As you can see from the photos below, the iPhone 5S shares the same designed as the iPhone 5, although the inside of the device is different with a new logic board.

| Sony Xperia ZR Headed To Hong Kong In July Posted: 21 Jun 2013 12:01 AM PDT Earlier in the week Sony announced that the Sony Xperia ZR would launch in Russia before the end of June, and now it would appear that the device will launch in Hong Kong in early July. Sony are now taking pre-orders for the Sony Xperia ZR on their website in Hong Kong, the handset will retail for HK$ 4,698, which works out at around $606 US dollars at the current exchange rate.

The Samsung Galaxy NX camera runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and it features a 20.3 megapixel APS-C sensor, an Advanced Hybrid Auto Focus System and a 1/6000 sec shutter speeds with 8.6fps.

The SIM only version of the Nokia Lumia 925 is only available in white at the moment. According to UK retailer Clove, the black Nokia Lumia 925 will be available in the UK from the 25th of June, the handset will retail for £480 including taxes.

| Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Update Headed To Telstra In July Posted: 20 Jun 2013 11:29 PM PDT Earlier in the week we saw a video of the Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 update, and now it would appear that we have some details on when the update will be available with Australian carrier Telstra. Telstra has now listed some information on its website for the Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with a date of the 15th of July. Apparently Telstra are running a customized version of Android on the handset, which could mean that Sony will release the update to other devices before this date.

The handset will be available for $99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with AT&T. Processing comes in the form of a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.

| Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini Jelly Bean Update Cancelled (Rumor) Posted: 20 Jun 2013 09:39 PM PDT Samsung previously announced a number of devices that would get the Android Jelly Bean update. one of those device was the Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini, although not it would appear that the device may not get Jelly Bean. The news comes from the official Samsung Twitter account of Samsung Mobile Spain, which posted a tweet saying that the handset would not be getting the update, you can see a translated version of the tweet below.
