| SIM Free BlackBerry Q5 Release Date In The UK Is July 1st Posted: 18 Jun 2013 06:54 AM PDT It looks like we have a BlackBerry Q5 release date for the SIM free version of the handset in the UK. According to UK mobile retailer Clove, the BlackBerry Q5 will go on sale in the UK on the 1st of July. The BlackBerry Q5 features BlackBerry 10 and it features a 3.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels, plus a full QWERTY keyboard, it also features front and rear facing cameras.

| Sony Xperia Z Headed To T-Mobile In The Next Few Weeks Posted: 18 Jun 2013 06:40 AM PDT US mobile carrier T-Mobile has announced that they will be offering the Sony Xperia Z on their network, the handset will be exclusive to T-Mobile who will be the only US carrier that will offer the device on their network. The handset is also available direct from Sony as a SIM free device. T-Mobile will offer the Sony Xperia Z on their Un-carrier no contract plans, although they have not revealed any information on how much the device will retail for.

| Google Chromebooks Headed To A Number Of US Retailers Posted: 18 Jun 2013 03:58 AM PDT Google has announced that Google Chromebooks will be available in a number of US retailers. The list of retailers includes Walmart who are now offering the new Acer Chromebook in over 2,800 stores in the US. As well as Wallmart the Google Chromebooks will also be available in Staples, and both Walmart and Staples will be offering the notebooks from a range of manufacturers which include HP, Samsung and Acer.

The Oppo Find 7 is rumored to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and the handset will apparently feature 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage, it will also come with NFC.

The news comes via a tweet from UK mobile carrier Three, who answered a question about the update, saying that HTC have just pulled the 4.2.2 release. HTC have been quiet about when the HTC One 4.2.2 software update would be release, and there have been rumors that it may not land on the device, although HTC have now confirmed to Engadget that the update is still on the way to the HTC One.

| Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Exclusive Version Headed To AT&T (Rumor) Posted: 18 Jun 2013 12:33 AM PDT The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to be made official this week, Samsung are holding a press conference in London this Thursday, the 20th of June. If the handset is announced this week then we would expect it to go on sale in the US and Europe next month. According to a recent report, US mobile carrier AT&T will get an exclusive version of the device, which they have done with the Samsung Galaxy S4, the handset will also be headed to the other major carriers, so AT&T will probably get a 32GB Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as an exclusive device.

We recently reported on a cyber heist conducted by a ring of hackers all across the globe that walked away with millions. To help prepare for potential cyber attacks, banks are turning to a simulation program called "Quantum Dawn 2". The program simulates cyber attacks and their symptoms within a controlled, sandbox situation and tasks banking executives with fending off or at least slowing down the attack in order to minimize losses. It doesn't just attack one company either. The program simulates an attack across multiple financial institutions at the same time. As 2015 draws ever closer, I've yet to see hoverboards on the horizon, but virtual reality gaming could be right around the corner. Oculus, the virtual reality company behind the Oculus Rift (feature in the picture below), received $16 million from investors to turn the Oculus Rift into a purchasable mass consumer product. As of right now, only major developers and those who forked over $300+ during Oculus' Kickstarter campaign have access to the Oculus Rift. However, Oculus has started selling the Rift development kit outside of the Kickstarter campaign. This year, a project called Lone Signal will attempt to communicate with alien life via GIF. The GIF is going to be sent to Gliese 526, a solar system that many believe could be habitable, via a large radio dish in California on June 18th. The solar system is more than 17 light years away, meaning it won't arrive at its destination until 2018.
