QWERTY Leather Wallet For QWERTY Lovers Now Available

Posted: 29 May 2011 11:43 AM PDT

It’s a leather wallet and letter keys are pressed t its surface. That’s pretty much the sum total of the QWERTY leather wallet. We’re not sure if QWERTY fans actually exist, but there must e people out there who do harbor a genuine fondness for keyboards. Anyway, if your eccentric fashion taste calls for more than just a plain leather money holder, then go ahead with the QWERTY. When you open it there’s a printed surprise on one of the flaps.

Money Shredding Alarm Clock Will Ruin Your Morning

Posted: 29 May 2011 11:37 AM PDT

You must have serious waking up issues if you’re willing to sacrifice $100 to a paper shredder. Then again, the below is just a concept illustration. We’re actually not sure if this even exists or who the designer is. It’s fun though. But $100? In case you didn’t get it, the alarm clock starts shredding the bill that’s been inserted at the appointed time unless it’s stopped.

Tired Of Waiting, Chinese Man Builds His Own iPad 3

Posted: 29 May 2011 11:31 AM PDT

We’re not sure if he was tired of waiting or simply had a generous amount of cheek, but a Chinese dude posted a blow-by-blow account of his iPad 3 build on a video sharing site. It took him three weeks and a considerable amount of money, but it was worth it. The finished iPad 3 runs on Windows XP (!) and has its own case marked with an Apple logo plus keyoard connectivity for serious typing.

Zelda Hand Towel Looks Like An Average Hand Towel

Posted: 29 May 2011 11:24 AM PDT

Consider this an awful case of scraping the bottom of the barrel. The Etsy barrel to be specific. Deep in the bowels of the handy crafts marketplace there lies this rather plain hand towel that has the benefit of a Zelda logo on a corner. We’d like to insist it has magic abilites and can cloak who so ever holds it, but that’s not true. This 13×13 Zelda towel is machine washable and 100% pure cotton.

Man Builds Airplane And Launches Maiden Flight In Backyard

Posted: 29 May 2011 02:00 AM PDT

After nine years of top secret toil, Dan Reeves pulled out his homemade airplane from its lair for a test flight. The problem: he had to modify his house so it could be pulled out and readied. Keeping faithful to a straightforward turbo-prop design, Dan dug out a ramp form his basement for the fateful maiden voyage on his airborne ride. If there are more people like Dan (and we know there are), then the idea of a solitary Tony Stark building power armor in a cave isn’t so far fetched after all.

Researchers Think They Found Way To Curb Spam

Posted: 28 May 2011 12:12 PM PDT

Take note, it’s “curb” and not “stop.” Doing the latter is next to impossible, unless a bunch of hackers suddenly disappear off the face of the Earth like that Russian guy a while back. The researchers form the University of Claifornia recently presented their findings after an exhaustive effort to find a way for ‘pinching’ spam at some choke point. Indeed, they’ve found it.

How come? Well, it can remove radiation particles on any hard surface. No surprise that it’s being heavily used in Japan right now as clean up crews work overtime to curtail the dangerous radiation spread by the Fukushima  plant disaster.
