Fujitsu says that the machines deliver power previously only offered in desktop workstations. The machines include the Celsius H910 and the Celsius H710 notebooks. They differ in hardware and specs. Netgear Unveils DGND3700 Dual-Core DSL Home Gateway Posted: 23 May 2011 10:40 AM PDT It seems like everything is going dual-core today from notebooks and desktops down to the low-end of the spectrum, to tablets and smartphones. Netgear has announced the first DSL home Gateway that packs inside a dual-core processor. That processor promises to speed things up. According to Netgear, that dual-core processor allows the user to run simultaneous high bandwidth apps without issues. The N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router also has an ADSL2+ modem inside to handle your modem duties and is combined with an 802.11n WiFi router. The WiFi router is a dual band router. LA Noire Becomes Fastest Selling New Video Game In UK Posted: 23 May 2011 07:40 AM PDT Chart-Track has revealed today that Team Bondi’s crime drama LA Noire, which launched for the Xbox 360 and PS3, debuts at the top of the All Formats Chart, becoming the fastest-selling new video game IP ever in the UK. Sales are on a par with the launch of Rockstar's previous chart topper 'Red Dead Redemption' which was released exactly a year ago. Nissho Electronics in Japan has just announced the BDL5231-32R, which is a 52 inch glasses free 3D HDTV and it comes with a Full HD resolution and can playback video in 1080p. The latest release of Firefox 5 looks very similar to the current RC version of Firefox 4 apart from the introduction of the new channel changer intergration and the relocation of Mozilla's Do Not Track opt-in to the privacy tab of the Firefox settings. Glasses Free iPad 3D Interface App Now Available In iTunes (video) Posted: 23 May 2011 05:43 AM PDT If you enjoy a little 3D without the need to wear 3D glasses you might please to know the i3D application for iPhone and iPad we featured here on Geeky Gadgets back at the beginning of April has now arrived in the Apple iTunes App Store and is available to download for free. The i3D application uses a feed from the front-facing camera, together with software called Head-Coupled Perspective (HCP), to track the position of a person's head in 3D in real-time. The TDK Sound Cube is equipped with 2 x 5 1/4-inch coaxial drivers and creates 20 Watts using 12 x D batteries or the provided AC power supply. According to the report, Apple sold 966,000 units for the quarter, and increase of 10 percent over the past year, whilst the other PC manufacturers in the top 5 lost up to 29 percent on their sales on the previous year. Google Blocking Android Market Movie Rentals On Rooted Devices Posted: 22 May 2011 11:36 PM PDT The Motorola Xoom running Android 3.1 is the only device that has access to Google’s new Android Market movie rental service at the moment, and it seems that Google is blocking access to the movie rentals on rooted devices. According to the guys over at Android Central, if you try to rent a movie on a rooted Android device you will get the message ‘Failed to fetch license for [movie title] (error 49)‘, and a Google support document has revealed that this message means your device has been blocked from accessing the movie rentals. Apple Store 2.0 Launches With Apple’s 10th Anniversary Posted: 22 May 2011 11:12 PM PDT We heard last week that Apple may have something new planned for its Apple Store’s to make their 10th anniversary, and the have now launched Apple Store 2.0, which basically means all the paper displays next to products have now been replaced by iPad 2′s. The iPad 2′s are used to display information about each product, and they can even be used to call one of the Apple retail staff over to give you some help.
