That isn’t the case anymore with OnStar offering a series of add-on mirrors that add the service to any vehicle you might own. Last year OnStar tracked Santa Claus and his movements on Christmas Eve for children. Google Sells Motorola Set Top Box Division For $2.35 Billion Posted: 20 Dec 2012 02:19 AM PST Google has announced that they have sold off Motorola’s set top box division in a deal worth $2.35 billion in cash and stock, and Motorola Home has been purchased by the Arris Group. Google will get about $2.05 billion in cash in the deal plus around $300 million in stock, which gives Google around a 15.7 share of the company. “The War Z” Stripped From Steam Following Bad PR And Misleading Claims Posted: 19 Dec 2012 06:32 PM PST Zombie MMO “The War Z” has been taken down from Valve’s digital storefront less than a week after its release. The move comes in response to user backlash over questionable claims made by developers about game features. Promised features that never materialized are multiple maps extending over 100 – 400 sq. km (the game offers only one much smaller map), private servers and Hardcore Mode to name but a few.

THQ Bought Out For $60 Million, Files For Bankruptcy Anyway Posted: 19 Dec 2012 06:16 PM PST THQ’s well documented troubles have finally caught up with the company, leading to today’s bankruptcy filing. The good news is this will apparently have no adverse effects on THQ’s studios, pending games currently in development or more importantly its headcount. Granted, this might have something to do with the fact that THQ’s assets are being sold to Clearlake Capital Group for a cool $60 million, but a shake-up with no redundancies is more than even most companies can manage.
