How bad is your life if you have to steal from a helpless paralyzed man? 38-year old William Washington is a quadriplegic with cerebral palsy and he uses an iPhone to communicate with other people. He uses a special pointer that inputs messages into the iPhone. The message is converted into sound using voice technology software. | Apple’s Multi-Touch Patent Ruled Invalid By USPTO Posted: 10 Dec 2012 03:30 AM PST According to a recent report, Apple’s Multi-Touch patent, which was granted to Apple some time ago how now been ruled invalid by the USPTO, this is one of the patents that Samsung was found to infringe, which then let to damages of over $1 billion being awarded to Apple. The patent was invented to Apple’s late CEO, Steve Jobs, and whilst it has been ruled invalid for the moment, this of course could possibly change in the future.

| Motorola Mobility To Leave South Korea Next Year Posted: 10 Dec 2012 03:23 AM PST Motorola Mobility, which is now owned by Google has announced that it will be leaving South Korea next year, the company will shut down its operations in South Korea in 2013. The move is part of Motorola Mobility’s global restructuring plan, in an attempt to turn the company around after it had been acquired by Google, there around 600 employees with the company in South Korea who sill lose their jobs.

| LG Has Sold 10 Million L-Series Smartphones Posted: 10 Dec 2012 02:42 AM PST LG has announced that they have now sold a total of 10 million L-series smartphones, the device include handsets like the LG Optimus L3, LG Optimus L5, LG Optimus L7 and the LG Optimus L9. LG launched their first L-series smartphone in February of this year at Mobile World Congress 2012, and they have managed to sell around 10 million of the handsets in around 10 months.

| Apple And Google Team Up In $500 Million Kodak Patent Bid Posted: 10 Dec 2012 02:13 AM PST Apple and Google are currently fighting for dominance in the smartphone and tablet markets, and now the two companies have decided to team up in an attempt to purchase Kodak’s patents in a bid worth around $500 million US dollars. Apple and Google are now working together to purchase around 1,100 patents from Kodak, of course the deal has yet to be officially confirmed and neither Google nor Apple have commented on the deal.

The Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered a a quad core 1.4GHZ processor and comes with a 16 megapixel sensor and a 4.8 inch touchscreen display, plus a pop up Xenon Flash and 21x optical zoom.

| Australian Police Say Apple Maps Could Be ‘Potentially Life Threatening’ Posted: 10 Dec 2012 12:49 AM PST Apple Maps which replaced Google Maps with the release of iOS 6 on the iPhone and iPad have come under a fair bit of criticism since the app was launched, and now police in Australia have called Apple Maps ‘potentially life threatening’. Police in Victoria have urged people not to use Apple Maps after motorists have become lost and stranded in the Australian outback for up to 24 hours without any food or water.
