Capcom is certainly doing a few things differently when it comes to the new Devil May Cry. Not only will the game be released after the holidays instead of being crammed in with the December crowd, but its PC launch is coming only ten days after the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Wii U Demos To Have Usage Limits Set By Publishers

Nintendo has implemented a demo usage counter for the Wii U and 3DS, with each publisher offered the possibility to set their own limits. This means a downloaded demo can now only be played a limited number of times (ten in FIFA13′s case) before the player is prevented from launching the demo and directed to a buy link.

High demand forces T-Mobile Germany to offer the Nokia Lumia 920

T-Mobile Germany has been forced to offer the Nokia Lumia 920, which runs on the Windows Phone 8 platform, picking it ahead of HTC's Windows Phone 8 range. They admitted that they are experiencing "unexpectedly high demand" from customers.

Gamespy Server Shutdown Not Unannounced, According To Glu

Multiplayer servers hosted by Gamespy for a number of popular older games went down last week, leading to outcries from loyal fan communities. When Sniper Elite was affected, developer Rebellion released on open statement placing the blame squarely at the feet of new Gamespy owners Glu, citing untenable rate increases and a lack of consultation.

DIY Flying Drone Armed With a Paintball Gun (video)

Citizen Drone Warfare has taken the humble flying drone and modified it adding a paintball gun and other attachments, including a new camera for targeting.

BBC iPlayer Radio iOS App Passes 1 Million Downloads, Android App Arriving 2013

The BBC has announce that their new BBC iPlayer Radio app which launched back at the beginning of October has now passed the 1 million download milestone.

The new BBC iPlayer Radio iOS App provides users with access to a dedicated pages for all the BBC's radio channels and shows, and  includes individual home pages for each radio station with catch-up features for each.

Portal’s GlaDOS Appearing In Guillermo Del Toro Monster Film “Pacific Rim” (Trailer)

So it turns out apart from just giant robots fighting giant sea monsters, Stringer Bell from The Wire and Jax from Sons of Anarchy, Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim will also feature GlaDOS of Portal fame. Not only will actress Ellen McLain be voicing an AI in the  film, but the same filter and effects are to be applied, making her GlaDOS in all but name.

Samsung Files Another Lawsuit Against LG Display

Samsung has filed another lawsuit against LG Display, the latest lawuist is relating to PLS ( plane-to-line) technology, and Samsung is attempting to have seven of LG’s patents relating to the technology invalidated.

Samsung is also looking to seek a sales ban on LG devices that infringe on the patents, as Samsung are saying that they original patented the technology back in 1997.

Sprint HTC Evo 4G To Get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update Today (Rumor)

It would appear that another Android device may be getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, the HTC Evo 4G on US mobile carrier Sprint, as the guys over at Android Police have received a screenshot of an internal Sprint pages which shows the update is being released on the 13th of December.

Sprint have yet to officially announce when the HTC Evo 4G LTE will be getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, hopefully there should be some more details later today if the leaked document is correct.

Time Warner Cable TV has launched a new version of their TWC TV app for iPad providing streaming video on demand to users and allowing access to watch over 4,000 TV and movie titles from 91 different providers.

Th service is now available to Time Warner subscribers who can now download the TWC TV iPad app update and watch video on demand throughout their houses as long as they have Time Warner Cable television and internet service connections.

Apple I Computer Sells For $640,000

We have heard previously of Apple I computers going for serious amounts of money at auction, although it looks like the latest one sold has raised the most money to date, as one was sold at an auction in Germany recently for a massive $640,000.

This beats the previous record for an Apple I computer which was sold back in June for $374,000 at Sotheby’s, which means that the value of the device has almost doubled in just a few months.

Samsung Smart TV Security Hole Discovered Offering Root Admin And Remote Access (video)

Owners of Samsung Smart TVs might be interested to learn that a Threat Post, security researcher Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability within some Samsung Smart TVs that could allow remotely access the Samsung TV.

As well as remotely access the Samsung TV hackers might also be able to access files located on the TVs USB flash drive connected to the TV, reconfigure the TV's remote control, and even gain root access and load up malicious software directly into the Smart TV system. Watch the video after the jump to find out more.

Google Has No Plans To Build Apps For Windows Phone 8

Google Releases Google Maps For iOS SDK

Earlier we heard that Google had released their new Google Maps application for Apple’s iOS platform, and now Google has released a new SDK that will let developers use Google’s Maps service within their own apps on Apple’s iOS platform.

This will give developers of applications that use maps another option on Apple’s iOS platform as well as Apple’s own mapping software, and they can choose to use Google Maps instead.

Windows Phone 8 App Submissions Up By 40 Percent

Microsoft has announced that application submissions to their Windows Phone 8 platform have increased by 40 percent, and as a result of this Microsoft will be accepting app submissions over the holiday period.

Microsoft have said that they will have full staff on over the Christmas period to deal with Windows Phone 8 app submissions, and developers can continue to submit their apps over Christmas.

EE To Expand 4G LTE To 35 Locations By March 2013

UK 4G LTE mobile carrier EE, which is a collaboration between Orange and T-Mobile have announced that they are expanding their 4G LTE network in the UK, and will have coverage in 17 more areas by March of next year.

The expansion will give EE coverage of 4G LTE in a total of 35 different areas of the UK by March of 2013, and you can see a full list of the new cities that EE will expand their network coverage in below.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Has Sold Over 7 Million Units Since Launch

Developer Ubisoft has today announced that their latest game Assassin’s Creed 3 has clocked up impressive sales of over 7 million units since its launch back at the end of October. Generating 3.5 million sales in the first seven days after release alone.

Ubisoft also revealed that twice as many players have joined the multiplayer mode compared to last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations game, and since its launch players of Assassin’s Creed 3 have carried out more than 250 million assassinations.

iPad Mini Launches In Russia December 14th

Apple will be launching their new iPad Mini in Russia tomorrow Friday the 14th of December, and the device will be sold through Apple Premium Reseller re: Store, the device will be available from 6PM Russian time.

Apple will also start selling the iPhone 5 in Russia tomorrow, although this will go on sale from midnight tonight in Russia, the WiFi only model of the iPad Mini will be available initially with the cellular model launching later on.

Metro: Last Light Game Trailer Released (video)

The Samsung ATIV Tab features a dual core 1,5GHz processor and a 10.1 inch HD LCD touchscreen display, it comes with 32GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that takes up to 64GB cards.

Samsung ATIV S Lands In The UK This Friday

We recently heard that the new Samsung Ativ S would go on sale in the UK before the end of the year, and now according to the guys over at Clove, the handset will go on sale in the UK tomorrow the 14th of December.

The Samsung ATIV S will retail for £442.80 including taxes, this is the SIM free version of Samsung’s new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, and the device s powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor and it features a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Google Maps Finally Returns To Apple’s iOS (Video)

When Apple released iOS 6 back in September, Apple Maps replaced Google Maps, Google Maps had been on the iPhone as the default mapping application since the first iPhone was introduced back in 2007.

We have been hearing for a while that Google has been working on a stand alone Google Maps application for iOS, and the app has now been released and is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch.
