| iPhone 5C May Not Be As Cheap As Expected in China Posted: 11 Sep 2013 04:27 AM PDT Apple unveiled their much-awaited iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S yesterday at a press event. The iPhone 5C is the low-cost version of the device that would target markets like China and India, which are currently dominated by Android devices. It seems as if the iPhone 5C is not as cheap as everyone expected in China. The device comes with a price tag of RMB 4,488 that is equal to almost $733 for the 16GB unlocked version – that is before the carrier subsidies. This price is even higher than the iPhone 5S in US which would set users back $649 for 16GB unlocked. Apple has listed the iPhone 5S on their website, with the message ‘order iPhone 5S from the 20th of September, which lead us to belive this was the pre-order date.

The Moto X features a 4.7 inch HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 pixels, plus a 1.7GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM.

There had been previous rumors that it would only be available on the iPhone at launch. Apple has now released Apple iOS 7 GM for developers, and it is available in both iPhone and iPad versions, which means that Apple will release both versions on the 18th of September.

The iPhone 5C will go up for pre-order this Friday the 13th of September and will go on sale on the 20th of September. The iPhone 5CUK price will be £469 for the 16GB model and £549 for the 32GB model, it will be available in five different colors at launch.

The iPhone 5S will be available in three versions, a 16GB model. a 32GB model and a 64GB model, pricing will start at £549 for the 16GB model, £629 for the 32GB model and £709 for the 64GB model.
