| Nokia Has Sold 2 Million Lumia Devices In China Posted: 06 Mar 2013 06:44 AM PST It looks like Nokia is having some success with its Lumia Windows Phone devices in China, as the company has apparently sold over 2 million Lumia handsets in China, the news has yet to be confirmed by Nokia. Nokia will also be launching their latest Windows Phone Lumia devices in China shortly which will include the new Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 620, these devices are expected to boost sales of Lumia smartphones in China.

| Nokia Lumia 720 Appears At The FCC Posted: 06 Mar 2013 05:37 AM PST Nokia recently announced a new range of Windows Phone 8 handsets, one of those was the Nokia Lumia 720, which is scheduled to go on sale in the UK next month, and now it would appear that the device is also headed to the US as the device has appeared at the FCC. The Nokia Lumia 720 features a 4.3 inch CleakBlack display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and processing is in the form of a dual core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

| Microsoft Reducing Price Of Windows 8 To OEM’s In Order To Boost Sales Posted: 06 Mar 2013 05:04 AM PST According to a recent report by the WSJ Microsoft is reducing the price of Windows 8 and also Microsoft Office 2013 to its OEM manufacturing partners in an attempt to boost sales of touchscreen Windows devices. The new deal will apparently mean that manufacturers will pay just $30 for Windows 8 and Microsoft Office combined, this is around $90 cheaper than normal, and could help boost device sales.

| EU Regulators Fine Microsoft 561 Million Euros For Breaking Antitrust Agreement Posted: 06 Mar 2013 04:01 AM PST European regulators have announced that they are fining Microsoft 561 million Euros which works out at around $732 million US dollars at today’s exchange rate for breaking an antitrust agreement. The agreement was originally made in 2009 between Microsoft and The EU regulators, and Microsoft have been fined because the failed to make the browser choice screen that they had agreed on available with Windows 7 service pack 1 from May 2011 until July 2012.

According to a recent report Samsung will be removing their ATIV Tab Windows RT tablet from sales in Germany, and also some other European countries, which have yet to be announced.
