| Samsung Galaxy Fame Goes On Sale In Europe Posted: 13 Mar 2013 07:02 AM PDT Last month Samsung announced a number of new mobile devices, one of those was the Samsung Galaxy Fame, and the handset has now gone on sale in some European countries. The Samsung Galaxy Fame is now available in Germany and Romania, and the handset has turned up on Amazon Germany for 196 Euros, it looks like it will also launch in the UK shortly as well with mobile carrier Three.

The Samsung Galaxy Y Plus features a 2.8 inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, processing is provided by an 850Mhz processor and it also comes with 4GB of build in storage an a microSD card slot.

| Samsung Galaxy S3 Lockscreen Bug Fix On The Way From Samsung Posted: 13 Mar 2013 04:47 AM PDT We recently heard about the Samsung Galaxy S3 lockscreen bug that would give anyone access to your handset, and now it would appear that Samsung is working on a software update which will address the issue. In the meantime a security firm called Lookout has released an app that will stop the lockscreen bug on the Samsung Galaxy S3, and the app apparently closes the bug.

| MetroPCS And T-Mobile Merger Gets FCC Aprroval Posted: 13 Mar 2013 04:24 AM PDT Last year we heard that T-Mobile and MetroPCS had agreed to merge their two companies in the US in a deal which was worth $1.5 billion US dollars, this was back in last October and was subject to the necessary regulatory approval. The deal will give Deutsche Telekon a 74 percent stake in the new company and MetroPCS a 24 percent stake in the new company, and Metro PCs will get a payment of $1.5 billion from T-Mobile.

| Samsung Galaxy S4 Headed To Three, EE And Orange In The UK Posted: 13 Mar 2013 04:09 AM PDT The new Samsung Galaxy S4 has not been announced as yet, it will be announced tomorrow at a Samsung Unpacked event which is taking place in New York, but it would appear that we now have some details of which mobile carriers in the UK will carry the Samsung Galaxy S4. We heard earlier today that EE would be offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 on their 4G LTE network in the UK, and now a couple more mobile carriers have confirmed that they will offer the Galaxy S4 on their network.

| Samsung Galaxy Note 3 To Feature LCD Display (Rumor) Posted: 13 Mar 2013 03:15 AM PDT The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features a Super AMOLED display, and now according to a recent report, Samsung may be switching to an LCD display for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The apparent reason for this is that LCD displays respond better to Samsung’s S-Pen stylus than those devices with AMOLED display, of course this is just a rumor at the moment so the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may end up coming with an AMOELD display after all.

The new comes from Eldar Murtazin, who announced on Twitter that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be refreshed with some new specifications, which will include an improved display.

It is not clear as yet whether the device below is a prototype handset or a new Motorola Android smartphone that is about to be released, the handset appears to 4.65 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the display seems to be an AMOLED display.

| Samsung Galaxy S4 UK To Feature 4G LTE Posted: 13 Mar 2013 02:36 AM PDT We now have some more information on the Samsung Galaxy S4 UK, earlier today we heard that the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 would feature a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU along with Samsung’s 8 core Exynos 5 Octa processor with a 1.8GHz clock speed, this will be the version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 for the UK. Now more details have been revealed, and the UK’s 4G LTE carrier, EE has announced on Twitter that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available on their 4G LTE network in the UK.

The retailer, Clove, has been informed by HTC UK that the launch date of the HTC One for the UK has been put back to the 29th of March, we previously heard earlier in the week that the handset may be delayed.

The international version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will use Samsung’s 8 core Exynos 5 Octa processor, and now it looks like the handset will feature a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU from Imagination Technologies.
