Future Tomb Raider DLCs Will Be Multiplayer

Gamers who bought the Tomb Raider reboot and have completed it in single player mode are probably looking for more content, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. According to Crystal Dynamics in their Reddit AMA, director Noah Hughes and global brand director Karl Stewart revealed that there are no planned single-player DLCs for the game right now.

Amazon 7 Inch Kindle Fire HD $99 In The Works

It looks like Amazon is planning to add another tablet to its Kindle Fire range, according to a recent report by TechCrunch, Amazon are working on a $99 7 inch Kindle Fire HD tablet.

The new 7 Inch Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablet is rumored to come with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and will apparently use the same TI processor that is in the existing Kindle Fire HD tablets.

Toshiba Announces Its 2013 AV Range

Toshiba has unveiled its 2013 AV range which includes a number of new TVs and Blu-ray players, include its new flagship 9 Series Ultra HD TVs which come in a range of sizes including 85 inches, 65 inches and 58 inches.

These new Toshiba 9 Series TVs come with a resolution up to four times that of the 1080p resolution on Full HD TVs, and they have also announced a new 7 Series HDTV range which will be available in a range of sizes including 40 inches, 50 inches and 58 inches.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Costs $244 To Build

Samsung recently announced their new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone which comes with a range of impressive specifications and features, and now according to a recent report by IHS, the Samsung Galaxy S4 costs around $244 to build.

The $244 figure comes from an estimated $236 in parts and $8 in labor to out each handset together, the report also says that the Samsung Galaxy S4 costs the company around $30 more to make than the previous generation Samsung Galaxy S3.

Adobe’s CTO Kevin Lynch Hired By Apple

Apple has hired Adobe’s chief technology officer Kevin Lynch, although there are no details as yet on what Mr Lynch’s new role at Apple will be, and it certainly makes some interesting news, considering the past relationship between Adobe, Kevin Lynch and Apple.

Apple and Adobe fell out back in 2010, when the late Steve Jobs slated Flash, and said that Flash would never be on the iPhone, Apple stuck to their word and Flash is still not supported on iOS devices today.

GameStick Android Developer Kits Start Shipping This Month

GameStick the new Android mini gaming console, which is looking to change the way Android games are played, has this week announced that they have been busy creating developer kits for their new GameStick, and will be shipping them by the end of the month.

GameStick launched on the Kickstarter website back in January and successfully raised over $640,000 helping it make the jump from being just a concept. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the new Android gaming console.

Jawbone have launched the Jawbone UP app on Google’s Android platform, and the Jawbone UP Android app will work with the Jawbone fitness wristband that has been available for a while, although the app was only available on Apple’s iOS devices previously.

In order to use the Jawbone UP Android App you will need a compatible Jawbone wristaband, the app brings a range of features to you Android device which you can see below.

iOS 6.1.3 Update Released To Fix iPhone Passcode Bug

Apple has released the latest version of their mobile OS, iOS 6.1.3, and the update brings a number of bug fixes to iOS devices, the main one is a fix for the passcode lock bug on the iPhone, this issue has now been fixed in iOS 6.1.3.

As well as fixing the passcode bug, iOS 6.1.3 also comes with some other unspecified bug fixes and improvements for maps in Japan, it looks like it has also fixed a security hole that was used by the evasi0n jailbreak.

EA Origin Store Vulnerability Found That Can Launch Malware

EA’s Origin store contains a vulnerability that potentially allows an attacked to substitute valid product links with unsafe alternatives. The exploit has been found by security researchers and seems yet untapped and only affects already downloaded games. Launching games through the service instead of desktop links should mitigate the issue.
