| Sony Xperia Z Sudden Death Issue Being Worked On By Sony Posted: 21 Mar 2013 05:29 AM PDT According to a number of reports, some owners of the new Sony Xperia Z smartphone are experiencing a sudden death issue on their device, basically the handsets are dying completely. Some users have apparently been able to switch their Xperia Z on with a hard reset and other have not, and now it looks like Sony is aware of the problem and is working on a fix.

| Amazon Says No $99 Kindle Fire HD Tablet In The Works Posted: 21 Mar 2013 03:53 AM PDT Yesterday we heard a rumor that Amazon were working on a new $99 Kindle Fire HD tablet, now Amazon has responded to the rumor and basically said that they are not working on a sub $100 Kindle tablet. An Amazon spokesperson told Business Insider that ‘It’s not happening–we are already at the lowest price points possible for that hardware’, this of course doesn’t mean we wont see one in the future.

| iPhone Passcode Bug Found In iOS 6.1.3 Posted: 21 Mar 2013 02:37 AM PDT Yesterday Apple released their iOS 6.1.3 software update, the update was designed to fix the iPhone passcode bug that allowed people to bypass the security on the device, and whilst the update did fix that bug, another passcode bug has been discovered. The video below shows that calls can be made on an iPhone if the voice dialing function is enabled using Apple’s Siri, even when the passcode lock is on the device, this was apparently tested on an iPhone 4.

| PlayStation 4 Carmageddon Reincarnation Game Confirmed Posted: 21 Mar 2013 02:11 AM PDT After a successful Kickstarter campaign rekindled the Carmageddon Reincarnation game, it now been announced that the game will be arriving on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and next generation games consoles, such as the Xbox 720. The news was announced by Stainless Games and director Jason Garber explained to the Eurogamer website that at the moment the company doesn’t have development kits for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720. | YouTube Now Has 1 Billion Monthly Users Posted: 21 Mar 2013 01:53 AM PDT Google has announced a new milestone for its popular video site, YouTube, the site now has more than 1 billion users per month, and according to Google almost one out of every two Internet users visit YouTube each month. Google has said that YouTube’s monthly viewers would make it the world third largest country, if it was actually a country, behind China and India, and they also shared some other details about YouTube.

A dozen titles are taking advantage of Early Access, which will no doubt soon become as commonplace as Greenlight.
