| Defense Grid 2 Getting Made In Spite Of Kickstarter Goal Not Reached Posted: 26 Apr 2013 08:15 AM PDT Defense Grid Awakening, the tower defense game which brought console-level production values to the genre is getting a sequel, despite its Kickstarter campaign only securing enough money for an expansion to the original game. The Kickstarter made around $270,000, but in order for Defense Grid 2 to be made, its Kickstarter would have needed to be funded to the tune of $1 million. Fortunately, a private investor stepped in and made up the difference, development on the sequel is going ahead, with all Kickstarter backers also receiving the game for free. According to TechCrunch, tickets for the 2013 Apple World Wide Developer Conference sold out in just two minutes, sales of the tickets were limited to one per person and they cost $1,599.

The T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 is a Windows Phone 8 smartphone that was first announced back in February, the handset comes with a 4 inch display that features a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

| LG Cloud Launches In 40 More Countries Posted: 26 Apr 2013 01:42 AM PDT LG launched their LG Cloud service in the US, South Korea and Russia last year, and now the company has announced that LG Cloud will be rolled out to 40 more countries around the world. LG will start rolling out LG Cloud to additional countries in May, and Europe, Asia, Central Asia and Latin America will get the service by the end of May.

| Sony Xperia ZR Specifications Leaked (Rumor) Posted: 26 Apr 2013 12:57 AM PDT It looks like Sony may have another smartphone in the works, the handset will be called the Sony Xperia ZR, and according to the leaked details it will feature a 4.6 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Sony Xperia ZR is rumored to come with a quad core 1.5GHz processor from Qualcomm, which would either be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or the Snapdragon S4 Pro.
