| LG Optimus G2 Confirmed BY LG, Coming In Q3 Posted: 18 Apr 2013 03:48 AM PDT We previously heard a rumor that LG would launch the LG Optimus G2 later on in the year, the handset has now been confirmed by LG’s head of mobile marketing, Won Kim, and whilst he didn’t reveal any details about the device he did say that the handset will be “something different and something unique”. We had previously heard that the LG Optimus G2 would come with a 5 inch display, and LG have said that the handsets display will be around 5 inches, although no more details were revealed.

| Nokia Sells 5.6 Million Lumia Smartphones In Quarter One Posted: 18 Apr 2013 03:20 AM PDT Nokia has just released its financial results for quarter one of 2013, and the company has announced that it had total sales of $7.6 billion and a non-IFRS loss per share of $0.03. Nokia has also revealed how many of their Lumia Windows Phone smartphones were sold in quarter one, with total sales of 5.6 million Lumia handsets, which is up from 4.4 million handsets sold in the last quarter of 2012.

| Nokia Working On Galaxy Note Like Smartphone Posted: 18 Apr 2013 03:03 AM PDT According to a recent report by the FT, Nokia is working on a new Windows Phone smartphone that will be similar in size to Samsung’s Galaxy Note devices, so basically we will be looking at a Windows Phone 8 phablet from Nokia. There were no details revealed about the specifications on this Nokia phablet, but we presume the handset will come with at least a 5 inch display and Windows Phone 8, it will probably be released under Nokia’s Lumia brand.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to feature a 4.3 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, it will also come in a couple of different versions one with a quad core processor and single SIM card slot.

| Sony Xperia Tablet S Jelly Bean Update Released Posted: 18 Apr 2013 12:54 AM PDT Sony announced last month that they would be releasing the Sony Xperia Tablet S Jelly Bean update, good news for owners of the Tablet S as Sony has announced they will be rolling out the update this week. The Sony Xperia Tablet S Jelly Bean update will come in the form of Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1, the update will be rolled out in stages and it will land in the US, Canada and Latin America first.
