As well as the IR blaster, the Sony Xperia Z1 in Japan will also come witg 32gB of built in storage, the global version of the handset comes with 16GB of built in storage.

| Apple Ends Free iCloud Storage For MobileMe Members Posted: 01 Oct 2013 03:27 AM PDT When Apple announced iCloud to replace their MobileMe service they gave MobileMe extra free storage on iCloud. iCloudl comes with 5GB of storage for free. Apple gave old MobileMe users a total of 20GB of storage for free, that has now ended, and the storage has now been set back to the free 5GB of storage.

| LG Gate Smartphone Security Announced Posted: 01 Oct 2013 01:36 AM PDT LG has announced LG Gate which is its new enterprise security platform, similar to Samsung’s KNOX system for their Android devices. This will allows companies to use a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) system. Companies will be able to use the LG Gate to encrypt their data and also use a VPN, it is not clears as yet whether the software will be free or available at an additional cost.

Sony has even bigger plan for next year, they are looking to increase shipments of their Xperia devices by 55 percent to 65 million in their next financial year.

AT&T will start selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear in their retail stores in the US from the 4th of October. The Note 3 will retail for $299 on contract and the Galaxy Gear will retail for $299.

One of the new features in Dropbox for Mac is the ability to copy your iPhoto Library using a built in importer tool, it creates a Photos folder in Dropbox and then arranges all your photos with sub folders that are the same as your iPhoto library.
