The FCC has to test to prove that devices using wireless connectivity and other things inside will not interfere with anything important like GPS. Angry Birds Join F1 Racing Team

Angry Birds Space was unveiled not long ago in cooperation with NASA directly from the ISS in orbit. Angry Birds is now taking to another extreme location, this time a Formula One racing track. Rovio has teamed up with F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen and the result is the coolest racing helmet in the history of helmets.

HP To Release webOS 3.0.5 Source Code

HP announced a while back that they would make their webOS software open source, although the goal was for future versions of the webOS to be open source.

Ghost Pedal Allows Guitarists To Move Around The Stage (video)

Any guitarist will know they are restricted to the area of the stage that contains their effects pedals when playing, but a new concept called Ghost Pedal is hoping to change this.

Google Docs Now Available In Google+ Hangouts

If you are a regular user of Google+ Hangouts, you might be interested in a new feature that Google has recently added that now allows you to access your documents, from within your Hangouts.

Once you are in a Hangout, you will notice a new button labelled “Docs”. Which once pressed will provide you with access to your Google Docs and enable you to share documents and files with others that are in your Google+ Hangout.

Sony Xperia S gets Unboxed (Video)

Sony recently launched their latest smartphone the Sony Xperia S which comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but will be getting updates to Android 4.0 ICS in the future.

The Xperia S features a 4.3 inch HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and it is powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor, have a look at the video below which gives us a good look at the Xperia S.

Apple’s New iPad Doesn’t Offer FaceTime Over 4G LTE

Apple’s new iPad 3 comes with a faster Internet connection than previous models, the new version supports 4G LTE ion the US, so you would expect things like FaceTime to work over LTE.

For some reason Apple has decided that FaceTime over 4G LTE won’t be supported on the new iPad and you will instead have to connect to WiFi.

Apple’s iOS Privacy Under Scrutiny From US Congress

Amazon Appstore Celebrates Its 1st Birthday With App Savings

Orange UK To Offer Subsidized New iPad 3

Nokia’s Design Chief Confirms Tablet In The Works

Bolex Camera Captures Footage As Uncompressed RAW Images (video)

The Bolex Camera has made splash one on the Kickstarter website this week, raising its required funding in only 24 hours after launch on the Kickstarter website.

The Digital Bolex is a "digital cinema camera" which has been designed for both consumers and professionals in mind, and shoots RAW images, sometimes known as “Digital Negatives” instead of the common compressed video found on most consumer digital camcorders. iTunes 1080p Video Quality Compared To Blu-ray

With the launch of the new iPad 3 and the Apple TV 3, Apple also added the ability to download and stream full HD video in 1080p in iTunes, and the guys over at Ars Technica have compared Apple’s new iTunes 1080p video to Blu-ray.

According to the report the new iTunes 1080p was considerably better than the previous 720p offering in iTunes just as you would expect, and the quality was almost as good of that of Blu-Ray.

New Apple TV 3 Gets Reviewed

Sony Shows Off Floating Touch Screen Technology On Xperia Sola (Video)

Earlier in the week Sony announced their latest Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia Sola, which according to Sony features ‘Floating Touch’, which is a new way of controlling you device without actually touching the screen.

BBC’s Paid Download TV Service Confirmed

We heard a rumor earlier in the week that the BBC were working on their own paid download TV service called Project Barcelona, and now the BBC’s Director General Mark Thompson has confirmed the existence of the new service.

The service is called Project Barcelona, and when launched it will see the BBC open up its archive of TV shows which will be available to download for a fee.

RIM Confirms Blackberry 10 Landing On PlayBook Soon

Virgin Media To Offer Free WiFi On London Underground During Olympics

UK broadband provider Virgin Media have won a contract to provide free broadband on the London Underground during the 2012 Olympics, and the service will start in July.

Anyone using the London Underground from July to the end of the Olympics will be able to connect their smartphone, tablet and notebook to the free WiFi on the underground and the service will remain free until the end of the Olympics.

Archos Teases G10 XS Android Tablet (Video)

It looks like Archos is about to unveil a new Android tablet, the Archos G10 XS, which as you can see from the photo below it looks like it will come with some sort of keyboard dock similar to the Asus Transformer range.

We don’t have many details on the new Archos G10 XS, although we do know that this new Android tablet will measure just 7.6mm thick and around 11mm thick with the new keyboard dock.

Sparrow Mail App Lands On The iPhone And iPad

One of the best third party email apps on the Mac is called Sparrow, we heard recently it was headed to the iPhone, and Sparrow is now available from today on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Sparrow is a third party email application that comes with a range of features, and it offers iMAP support, with Gmail, Apple’s iCloud, Mobile Me as well as custom iMAP accounts.

Three UK To Offer Subsidized New iPad 3

UK mobile carrier Three just dropped us an email to let us know that they will be offering the new iPad 3 on their 24 month data contracts and also on their month to month plans.

This is for the WiFi and 4G model of Apple’s new iPad, and the cheapest version is the new 16GB iPad 3 which is available for £99 up front, followed by a monthly fee of £29, this gets you 15GB of data per month, this is when you sign up to a 24 month contract with the carrier.

Apple’s New iPad 3 Gets Reviewed

The new iPad 3 will go on sale this Friday, and it comes with a range of new feature over the iPad 2, which include the new Retina display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution.

The latest iPad also comes with 4G LTE, a larger capacity battery, and a new Apple A5x processor which features quad core graphics, plus a 5 megapixel camera.

IDC: Android Tablets Need 3 More Years To Catch Up With iPad

Verizon Makes 4G LTE A Requirement For Upcoming Phones
